Back to the Future

^It's worth it. I don't recall any other trilogy, where each movie seamlessly segues into the predecessing one.

Yeah, I wasn't saying that trailer was anything special - that's just for a generic rerelease. The major celebration was in 2015 for the 30th anniversary. I actually took a specific vacation to California (and Monument Valley) in Oct 2015 and visited all the filming locations. You could buy any version of the DVD or BD except the initial (botched) 2002 release - they can be picked up for a bargain price these days.

But yeah, the movies are amazing in every way. Story, acting, atmosphere, music, camera work. They've aged really well considering they are period pieces. I think the best thing about them is the attention to detail.

And MJ being featured in two of them is an added bonus.

You could watch the trilogy as one big continiues movie.
Yeah, I must have done this dozens of times -"Back To Back To Back". In the VHS days I did in fact make a copy of the movies that were edited together just like this.

It comes to about 5 hours 40 mins, so you need to start before about 6pm if you want the marathon to finish at a decent time. For bonus points, you could time the start so that the lightning at the end of Part II is at exactly 10:04.
