Bad 40th Anniversary

The only issue was not being able to find a high quality HD of the BAD tour.
If you want them to release a live concert then just ask them to release a live concert. No need to buy another copy of Just Good Friends in order to get it.

It was ok but a few more unreleased songs should have been included.

If you want them to release unreleased songs then just ask them to release unreleased songs.

Like, what's happening here? Are people just not reading what I type or something?

I bought the concert on DVD on its own, without anything else, because that was the only thing I was interested in from Bad 25 release. Didn't have to buy anything I didn't want to in order to get it

LOL, it’s pretty obvious that the Estate doesn’t care what the fans wants.
Branca himself said a few years ago that releasing something new for the fans was not a priority.
But the Estate should use that opportunity to do so with the upcoming movie.

Exactly!!!

I bought Bad/Wembley as a standalone DVD.

I bought Dangerous/Bucharest as a standalone DVD.

In both cases I bought what I wanted, no more and no less. There was no need for an "Anniversary rerelease", lol.

If the only way to get those DVDs was via an expensive deluxe collectors edition boxset, Sony would have simply missed out on a sale.

And that's perfectly fine. They don't need to. I have all the MJ albums, I don't need any more. I won't be buying any new copies of Thriller or Dangerous. If they're to have any hope of a sale from me, they're going to have to offer something new, at a good price.

Isn’t Bad in the region of 33 million? I mean, not Bad at all, is it?!

Bad album is amazing and all the outtakes sounds good or great yet during this
time Michael recorded ….imo…one of the worst songs: We Are Here to Change the World
I cant say anything positive about it and it is a song I never play.
Well that's your opinion, I like it, I'm sure I'm not the only one

According to a user on @MJJCommunity there is a source very close to The Estate who has seen screenshots of original 4K scans of Michael's BAD Tour at Wembley Stadium on July 15, 1988... Note: this program also exists in Multitracks, used for the official APOM short film.
Dont't give me hope. We need more details! What source?
Edit: Source is an old tweet from Zakk..

What Michael Jackson's BAD REALLY Did to the Music Industry...

I'm sure that the enthusiasm for the biopic will lead, if not to a third posthumous album, but at least to Bad 40. This would be the opportunity to release songs like Throwin' Your Life Away, Chicago 1945 and Dream Away. And hopefully more unknown songs like:

Tomboy
Make or Break
Crack Kills
Buffalo Bill
Alright Now
Groove of Midnight
Be Me 4 a Day
Tabloid Jungle
Turnin' Me Off
What You Do to Me
Apocalypse Now
Get Around
Bad Company
Get In To The Groove
Places You Find Love

They should not waste releaseable songs on anniversary albums.

Make a new album with all new songs - and if they only want to release 8 new songs to keep some for future releases - then add We've Had Enough and Price of Fame in a new finalized version. - The version released is great, but it could be updated a little.

Bad Tour 87 red Shirt
Bad Tour 87 Silver Shirt
Bad Tour 87 Black Shirt
Yokohama 87
Wembley 88
New York 88
LA 89
Bonus: MJ And Stevie in Brisbane

I don’t even need unreleased songs.

Exactly that.

ANNIVERSARY albums should be just that. They should celebrate the original album, as it was released at the time. All the original B-sides and remixes. Possibly the early demos of the songs on the album. But that's it.

You can't celebrate an old album with random new songs that nobody has heard before.

45 million copies sold for just the album. That is probably not true.

However, if we combine both the sales of album and singles of the album, the 45 million figure is correct.
But we all know that's not how it works.

And even if it did, most singles don't even break 1 million sales, so that number is definitely bogus.
