REAL! I watched this one a while ago and this song and performance live rent free in my head since... Thank you for sharing!
 
It doesn't have the flashy moves that Motown and the Grammys had but oh my god I can always feel the overwhelming vibe and the groove when he's doing Rock With You. I really love it. And here the vocals are immaculate. You're right.

The pleasure is all mine! The funny thing is that this performance randomly popped into my head after all these years and I just had to get reacquainted with it again

I totally agree. It’s a terrific performance all across the board and sometimes less truly is more!
 
And now imagine a whole 2-hour show like that. It would have been incredible.

Instead, the HIStory tour had him running about, out of breath, pretending to sing :-(

All the Jackson 5 tours, Destiny Tour, Triumph Tour, Victory Tour, Bad Tour. That’s probably close to 400 shows of shows like that :)
