Can anyone provide some more detail or info about these concerts? A quick google search yields the following info:

"In 1988, a Korean businessman named Kenneth Choi began a campaign of begging, pleading and gift-giving just to have Jackson come to Seoul. A contract was signed which stated that he would hold four concerts at Olympic Stadium in August 1989; for some reason, they were canceled."

Michael was obviously busy recording his Dangerous Album and trying to sign Movie Deals. I also heard he was in great pain from the balloon treatment to fix his scalp. But apart from these facts, does anyone has any other info to provide? What are your thoughts?

This was the Jackson-Moonie Project.

Michael Jackson unwillingly signed a contract that would perform (with his brothers) 4 shows there in 1989.

On each show, Michael Jackson himself would perform 4 songs and a medley with his brothers, and his brothers would perform the rest of each show.

The deal eventually fell through due to monetary disputes.

Michael Jackson and other members of the Jackson family were later sued by the Segye Times Company (the company that financed that project).

Bill Bray (the singer's head of security) was also later sued by the Segye Times Company.

Michael Jackson was supposed to sing the South Korean national anthem and Korean songs in Korean costumes, since the concert was held in Korea.

MJ was done performing with his brothers at this point. On top of that, he was extremely busy at this time.

What was the outcome of these lawsuits? Were they thrown out?
