Clarification about Ray Charles in Seeing Voices?

I sometime hear/read that Ray Charles participatedin recording Seeing Voices.
First thing, it's not Ray Charles but "Ray Charles Choir" who is credited... that could be people who worked with Ray Charles... but that could actually be anyone using that name.

When I look for "Ray Charles Choir" ... I actually find nothing (well, not much), the best match I find is "The Ray Charles Singers": https://www.discogs.com/artist/353827-The-Ray-Charles-Singers

If you pass your mouse over "The Ray Charles Choir" on this page, it shows "The Ray Charles Singers" ... recorded in 1958.

And in "The Ray Charles Singers", Discogs shows this guy named Ray Charles (2):

Interesting - I would like to know more about this song.

It's really fascinating and the song is great. - Same vibe as Childhood and Little Susie (without the scary-theme)

MJ had such a wide range of music - this is like a musical. Storytelling. It's great.

Hopefully it will one day be released and profit could be donated to blind-organisations etc.
