Cleveland Show-Shamone! [Do you find cartoon satire about MJ harmless, offensive or disrespectful]

Simpsons had "rude" humor. Eddie Murphy's old stand up was full of "offensive" material.
Just wondering why Seth's shows and comedians not named Bill Cosby are written off, but Simpsons and Murphy are okay.

I agree, the Simpsons are okay and I have a few laughs when I watch them. I don't enjoy The Simpsons as much as Family Guy or South Park. I enjoy watching Louie CK's show Louie, which is even more offensive than all of those shows. It's not animated, but it's definitely shocking and offensive and I don't think they have ever made fun of Michael or ever will.

Omg, Louie is such an excellent show!
I wouldn't say it's offensive, though (are you referring to the standup portions in the show? Even that, not at all).

The girls who play his 2 little daughters are really great actresses :D

Eddie Murphy's stand ups has IMO NO offensive jokes against Michael. That's what I love most about them.

Man, need to rewatch those again for the lols.

Sure, there are a lot of offensive moments in the show! I love it, they aren't offensive to me, but things like, "Have you ever heard of someone dying and then you got an erection?" "I hope you get raped." "Your testicles are just two big lumps of cancer." "You have AIDS, no I'm just kidding." "You want to stick your d*** up me?" "I would totally have sex with an animal." "Your mother is dead? Good, she was a c***." etc. etc. etc.

lol, Trust me my brother and his girlfriend wouldn't even make it through one episode.

first of all, i didn't say that i saw everything eddie murphy ever did. secondly, what i saw of him, that was considered offensive was mainly humor aimed at himself and his own race, and full of four letter words. thirdly, if i ever heard him do something negative to Michael, i would react negatively to eddie. fourthly, the Bartman was a tribute to Michael. so...as far as being offensive...the simpsons, which i didn't see every episode..it depends on what you mean by 'offensive'.

so, as far as the 'spirit' of what i'm aiming at, it's easy to see. it's always a choice of whether to state it or not.

i guess what i am saying is, this is an MJ fansite. I'm limiting my being offended to anything that offends Michael, in my view.

I loved Chris Tucker's stand up about Michael Jackson as a pimp. I like the type of comedy where you laugh with someone not at someone

The Simpsons have been a way more respectful to Michael when they make references to him.

I this pic is from 1992 Halloween special where Bart tries to bring back to life to Snow Ball the cat using a spell but turned the dead people in Springfield in zombies, that was funny.

I don't remember which season is but in that episode Homer takes Bart to work and does magic tricks and they find Michael and "his brothers" it's probably offensive to the brothers.

Here I don't know if in this episode where Homer joins to a new sect are making fun of religions or Michael's teaser HIStory. I couldn't find an audio in English, sorry. "Ladies and gentlemen, behold your new god, Mr. Burns." (just the first 11 secs, ignore the rest)

An the most offensive one IMHO, when The Simpsons go to England and Homer is sent to prison for injuring the Queen and MJ wants to buy his bones.

All these are pre 2009...

Okay, but you have to bring to light that these are satire parody shows. They are meant to be politically incorrect, immoral, and disgusting.
MadTV,Saturday Night Live,Family Guy,The Cleveland Show,American Dad,etc. have all made fun of Michael. Some of the parodies are extremely funny, because of the jokes and the way they were written.A lot of Michael fans think all the parodies are disgusting. It's really sad because they're meant to be funny, not hurtful. Some fans need to quit being so close-minded and get a sense of humor.*NOTE that I'm not saying ALL Michael fans, but a large amount*

I'm pretty sure Michael wouldn't laugh because some of those are racist and hurtfult.

I've been spastic all my life and I need a walker to have a better support while I walk and I found offesive when Eric Cartman from South Park faked to be a mental retarded to win the paralympics, I don't know if they have made more episodes making fun of people with special needs but that character Eric is a bastard racist. I don't fnd funnny at all when people mock about the the situation that makes me struggle and I'm quite sure Michael either.

From TV Tropes:
South Park became highly controversial by being offensive in about as many ways possible - bad language, violence, nudity and perverse sexual references, and witheringly sarcastic, highly irreverent, and downright obscene approaches to race, religion, celebrities, politics, homosexuality, obesity, the mentally challenged and just about everything that's possible for people to get riled up over. To add fuel to the fire, all the main characters were children, and the animation was done in a deliberately crude, brightly colored style that made it look like it was made for or by pre-schoolers.

Not saying it's right or anything, but really you cannot watch South Park and not expect that they might make a joke that hits close to home. Like I said in a previous post, I think they make fun of things that even they personally believe and hold dear to their own hearts because the purpose of the show is to see how far they can go.

Raping a child is a comical matter to some people on here it seems.

I gotta say that Seth Macfarlane's best work as to be Johnny Bravo. He didn't create it but he did write for it
