Controversial MJ Documentary Leaving Neverland [GENERAL DISCUSSION THREAD]

Parts of article published by the SUN/Daily Mail etc..

‘I know Michael Jackson is innocent and NEVER abused kids – and millions of people agree with me’ says super fan Dan Osborne

The former TOWIE star, who has tattoos of *****, is one of millions of people who refuse to believe accusations that the singer abused children

WITH his Michael Jackson tattoos and smooth Thriller dance moves, former TOWIE star Dan Osborne is the ultimate ***** superfan.

He's also one of millions of people who still refuse to believe accusations that the singer raped and sexually abused children, despite decades of rumours, court cases and pay-offs.

The tribute tattoo was a reaction to *****'s death in 2009 when Dan was 17

In the wake of the new damning documentary, Leaving Neverland, the dad-of-three who is married to EastEnders star Jacqueline Jossa, passionately explains what people like him really think.

He tells Sun Online: “To me Michael Jackson is the greatest entertainer that ever lived.

It seemed to me that he adored kids and cared about them because he was a real life Peter Pan.

He donated millions to kids’ charities and adored his own three children.

I don’t think he would have had it in him to hurt them, like Wade Robson and James Safechuck have claimed in the new documentary.

I just don’t believe that Michael Jackson sexually abused children.

I don’t know what is motivating the men who are accusing him but with the amount of money the family have, could there be a financial motive?

I am not calling them liars because I don’t know for sure what happened but I have yet to see any proof.

Even if they couldn’t speak out while he was alive, the guy has been dead nine years, so why now? I feel like they could be motivated by money but that is just my opinion.

I honestly believe Michael is innocent and I’m not alone. More people don’t believe the accusations than do believe them - a lot more....

'Did the accusers lie in court?'

The two accusers in the new documentary testified in the court case that ***** had not molested them.

So they’ve said he was innocent, under oath, and then there’s a change of heart when there’s a documentary being offered and possibly a sum of money. That makes me suspicious.

Sometimes money is an evil thing and can make people do horrible things.
'It's brainwashing viewers'

The Jackson family have pointed out that the documentary only listens to the stories of the accusers, and not anyone who was close to the singer or could deny the abuse took place.

That’s unfair. It’s an attempt to brainwash viewers into believing the two men and not giving them a chance to hear an argument back or any kind of explanation.
Michael found fame at a young age but lost his childhood.

The filmmakers know what they’re doing. They know it will be talked about and cause so much speculation.

It brings attention to their documentary and they’re going to earn money from that....

Damn, that was painful to watch Jermaine defend his brother. Just leave them alone. They don't deserve to go through this again. Let Michael rest.

Some of these comments are just refreshers. Though I am a bit concerned about some comments where they seem to be questioning MJ.

Yeah, I agree and I don't get it. And so all of a sudden too. Even what seems to be a long time poster started with nonsense like how he had a "thing" for boys, creepy relationships etc. I'm like, dude, that's The Sun type of nonsense right there.

If something groundbreaking had come out, some smoking gun that is impossible for us to just easily discredit I could understand it more but as it stands now? Hell no.

Re: Sundance Festival 2019 - Controversial MJ Documentary "Leaving Neverland"

By a german news report:

After the Michael Jackson documentary: Filmmaker delivers crude explanation

https://www.tvspielfilm.de/news/tv/...de-erklaerung,9690484,ApplicationArticle.html

The documentary "Leaving Neverland" premiered at the Sundance Festival on January 25th. It tells of two men claiming to have been sexually abused by Michael Jackson in the 1990s. Wade Robson and James Safechuck were present at the premiere, with some spectators leaving the room ... Reed: I do not characterize Michael Jackson in the least in the movie. I think when you see the movie, you realize it's a movie about these two families and Jackson is just one element of the story. I had no intention of characterizing it. I do not speak to him at all. It's not a movie about Michael. The movie itself is a report of sexual abuse, how sexual abuse happens, and how it affects later life. "

Reed is on the side of the fans exposed to fierce criticism. According to his own information, he even received a death threat by email. His justification, however, will hardly do any harm. At least his statement, alone the duration of four hours make the film to a serious documentation, is argued argued thinly.

"They [Robson and Safechuck] have a precious value, and every time a song is played, the cashier rings and it's not surprising that they're stepping out and fighting for that value."

Michael Jackson was acquitted of all charges in the 2005 trial. The documentary now wants to throw another light on the King of Pop. When and if "Leaving Neverland" will be shown in Germany, is not yet known.

Gayle King is Oprah's best buddy. She was watching 'Leaving Neverland' with Oprah on David Geffens' yacht, (as a birthday celebration for Oprah). Go figure....

The Jackson family are not allowed an advance viewing of Leaving Neverland before its television debut. Yet a certain Miss Winfrey is.
The collusion is big on this. One has to wonder what the true motive is.

After enjoying some birthday cake on Tuesday, the group watched the Michael Jackson sexual assault documentary Leaving Neverland

King later raved about Leaving Neverland, which details how Michael Jackson allegedly raped two young boys for years.

'Just watched ALL FOUR hours of Leaving Neverland.. powerful, compelling & a game changer for those who have been afraid to speak up of child sex abuse,' wrote King.

'My heart goes out to Wade Robson & James Safechuck. Thank YOU for sharing your pain it will make a difference. Bravo to producer Dan Reed.. I’m still reeling.'

Re: Sundance Festival 2019 - Controversial MJ Documentary "Leaving Neverland"

I have no words for this shit about Oprah and her friends watching this on a yacht. And that tweet from Gayle King, about how she feels their pain, thanks the director. Just **** the hell off. Crawl into that man's behind why don't you? Jesus christ, I am so, so....SO fed up with this stuff. I guess it remains to be seen what Oprah thinks of it but I don't trust her at all. And she has a huge influence, which is not good.

The fact that the Jacksons just can't see this doc, yet Oprah can. Also, this Geffen dude, wasn't MJ very against that fellow?

What is this about The Eagles precisely?

Once Oprah opens her mouth and sides with the doc a ton of people will side with her I'm sure. All her viewers, which are quite a lot will undoubtedly sway towards her. This is bad. I could swear I saw a article about how MJ said Geffen was trying to destroy his career.

YEP!

I don't want to panic too much, but Oprah, rather a powerful woman, on the yacht with a very, very powerful man in Hollywood. If we go by what MJ apparently said about him..... not good, not good at all!!!!!!

I've just noticed Frank Cascio has deleted his Twitter account. He just posted this two or three days ago:

Now his account is suspended. WEIRD.

Either he got into it with someone and got suspended for violating Twitter's ToS or he was getting hounded by trolls and decided to step away.

I'm hoping that's all it is, anyway.

Why the Jackson family is not allowed to watch the documentary until it leaves and other people do?
This is not fair to them and I do not understand, I imagine the impotence that they will have and that they can not even see it? it's not fair.

Because those people have a motive. I side-eyed Oprah for quite a long time now. Gayle King is a follower. Mo'Nique had called them out on their b.s. after "Precious." That's another conversation. Michael knew those people cannot be trusted.

Trust and believe, those people are trying to really cover up their own skeletons in the closet.

On the brighter side, my sixth sense tells me that so far, more and more people have caught on to the fact that Michael was innocent, mostly are saying let him rest in peace. Leave him alone!

I'm proud of you guys are spreading the true facts out there (FBI files, court documents, articles).

Re: Sundance Festival 2019 - Controversial MJ Documentary "Leaving Neverland"

Its 100% manipulation and protection from back lash why the family cant see it..

At least one jackson should habe showed up at Sundance, problem would have been resolved just like that..

The entire q&a and reaction would have changed.. you think wade and James would have gotten a standing ovation with jermain in the audience?

Re: Sundance Festival 2019 - Controversial MJ Documentary "Leaving Neverland"

There is an angry mob leaving almost 300 comments on the Daily Mail article how Oprah celebrated her birthday with David Geffin. Less than 5 even mentioned about the documentary. People were upset how the elite live, the 1% who are the wealthy. Nobody likes David Geffin. His yacht is polluting the water. How many people dislike the democrats/ liberals. Oprah is a hypocrite eating her cake on account of Weight Watchers. This is good news, that nobody cares that Oprah watched the documentary, aboard a rich man's yacht, polluting the water and ruining the environment with its diesel fuel. That is the gist of it! Just a lot of lampooning of Oprah's World!!!

Re: Sundance Festival 2019 - Controversial MJ Documentary "Leaving Neverland"

what i dont understand is that it needs an amazing group of fans who produce a video like "The Real Story". WHY doenst the estate come up with the idea and produce one long objective documentary with every single proof and fact from all the alligations by chandler, arvizo, robson, safechuck, jacobshagen.

ESTATE has the money. WHY does even TAJ has to collect money for it. The estate should do everything to fight back against such a fake news "documentary". this makes me really mad! An official documentary with all the fact and proofs that this whole shit has always been made up and nothing but lies.

Re: Sundance Festival 2019 - Controversial MJ Documentary "Leaving Neverland"

estate should blame themselves. they have the money to produce one real documentary with facts and proofs to finally make all these false alligations stop.

there are so many proofs and recors, videos, emails, tweets, posts from all the jordans, wades, gavins, james, jacobshagens from all the many years.

why doesnt the estate produce this one documentary to clear it all up!?

dont get it.

Re: Sundance Festival 2019 - Controversial MJ Documentary "Leaving Neverland"

This is so depressing. I'm so worried that when this mockumentary comes out on HBO that it will be as bad as the R. Kelly backlash, if not worse.

This documentary seems to be worse than I imagined.

People who've seen it seem very convinced that MJ was guilty.

I'm so upset.

I really hope the estate has something to counteract this.

Don't worry about it. This too shall pass. We're all in this together. We've been through storms before, but always made it through. Only God got the final say, not the media.

The fans are out here trying to show people all the proof of Michael’s innocence. They’re working hard and being attacked all the way, getting savaged by most of the media, haters and the people behind this mess. The fans can’t do this alone. The “Leaving Neverland” film will be shone again soon enough. And then, there’s no turning back. The Estate need to make a response documentary as fast as they can.
