To be honest, there were so many videos from Dangerous that I knew they wouldn't get through to the end. They couldn't even complete the 3 videos from Thriller, so this was always going to fizzle out after the first couple.

Atleast we have fans doing the job for us. mjcontent1 recently returned and has uploaded a “4K Test” of Bad, and it looks DAMN good. Dunno if it’s AI or not, but it doesn’t look AI to me

it looks 1:1 like the DVD, used the DVD as source, Video AI at low settings and grain put on top. you can do this in less than 5min

Looking 1:1 to the DVD is why some might think it looks better though
Since this was upscaled (resolution wise, not just AI) it was far less affected by YT's compression, which might give the impression (to people that haven't seen the DVDs) that it looks better when in reality it's just the same as the DVD.

Black or White and Remember the Time have cgi/visual effects so upscaling those is somewhat understandable. In the Closet has none.

Such a shame, the most important project the Estate had and they have completely failed so far on everything but two short films.

We've already seen them discuss the film reels for the Bad short films so absolutely no excuses there.
