I read that the vocals heard in amateur audios of the Beat it rehearsals are re recorded vocals made for This is it. Is it true ?

I remember a few years ago, fans deduced that the vocals may have been taken from a Victory tour concert. The phrasing, timing, and even the little tics were spot on. I don’t remember it for certain but it was somewhat convincing.

Those audio comparisons were pretty convincing yeah, Michael Prince sure went out of his way to edit that in lol.

The one in the movie yes probably were, but I don't doubt that Michael would sing like that with good training

Why use audio from a Victory Tour concert? It would have made more sense to use something from the Dangerous Tour IMO

Only WBSS, Human Nature, the J5 medley, IJCSLY, Smooth Criminal (partially), Black Or White (also partially) have live vocals. The rest is either album vocals or vocals from past tours.
