I can understand the state of mind people are in, but there is so much that people are not seeing. It will all make more sense once everyone sees the final product.

Exact wording from our friend who went to court:"Jennifer Keller argued that a protective order (AEO) should be forced in place. AEO means "Attorneys' Eyes Only" and is a protection involving sensitive or confidential information.Keller and Susan Yu also argued that because Carpenter was involved in BS2, it is a concern and is very risky to not have this protection since they are working on the making of BS3. This can jeopardize also any witness and make them feel reluctant to speak. It is imperative that the information gained in discovery cannot be shared with anyone except for the attorneys assigned to the case. The Judge didn't disagree and said that because Michael is a celebrity and a high-profile figure, and that many people and the media are interested in the case, that AEO should be put in place. He requested that an amendment to the case be filed by the 21st of April."

What happened in court today:1. Jennifer Keller argued that AEO protection should be put in place. AEO means "Attorneys eyes only" and is a protection involving sensitive or confidential information. Keller argued that because Michael is a high profile celebrity, and that many people are interested in the case, that AEO should be put in place. Keller also argued that because Carpenter was involved in BS2, that it is imperative that the information gained in discovery cannot be shared with anyone except for the attorneys assigned to the case. The judge said he agreed with Keller, but no judgment was made today.

Jennifer Keller is an excellent attorney. She did most of the talking during the last hearing. According to everyone who has heard her speak in court on this case, she was effective and professional. I am sad to see her leave.

Breaking: Jennifer Keller is no longer a part of the defense team against the Robson/Safechuck case against the MJ Companies. No reason was given. Mesereau, Yu and Steinsapir remain as counsel.

Really sad to see this. Jennifer Keller seemed really good, as far as I could tell. Diligent, really paid forensic attention to detail, didn't seem like you could derail her easily.

Sad news. :(

"CASE UPDATE: Extended Timeline

Both sides and the referee agreed that the discovery deadlines should be extended 6 months (February 10, 2027) due to various delays.

A status conference is still scheduled for July 11. If judge agrees, this could delay any trial 'til spring 2027."

It would not be the first time that projects have been postponed/canceled due to allegations:
2019/2020: The Estate had a number of plans, including those for the 10th anniversary of the release of This Is It, that were all impacted by the release of Leaving Neverland.
