Do You Know Where Your Children Are (Original version)

The 2010 version is by far the best in my opinion. It matches perfectly with the song text ;) but sadly it would have felt out of place on Xscape.
But it would have been also great to has a rock song on the album.

The timbaland version is also great. I think Michael would have liked the production because it sounds completely new, modern but also not like everything what is released today.

Hey thanks, didnt know the drum came from Melvin Bliss. Anyway the modern version of the song sucks. I mean it is too mainstream. The original one is way better, you hear Michaels work through it. They shouldnt have done so much to the song.

Yes it is realy a diamond. Only MJ could make this!

I`m not so sure Michael would have liked the timbaland version.
Michael loved guitars so I think he would have loved the 2010 one instead of the silly "computer game" sounding new version.
Biggest letdown for me regarding Michael music was when I found out that the 2010 version wasnt on Xscape.

It seems this song's still staying under the radar of most fans, unfortunately.

The earlier leak of its posthumously modified mix (2010 remix) has taken away any space for excitement. Hadn't the 2010 remix leaked beforehand & had its original mix been released on Bad25, there'd be more love and appreciation for DYKWYCA. Just my 2 cents.

I'll admit I keep forgetting about this because it's on Xscape. I loved the 2010 mix, and I kind of agree with you here. I remember being blown away by the 2010 mix.

I keep forgetting about this and Loving You (2 songs I love) because Xscape is not an album I seek out when browsing for a listen. For the other songs on the album, I prefer the original leaks.

Unpopular opinion, but i don't like the 2010 mix. The guitar is too loud, and you can't really hear the original melody... But it's still better than the 2014 version, which is awful and sounds "slimy".

Would be nice to hear the song in its untouched Dangerous era state (or History era respectively).

I would argue the 2010 mix might be the single best posthumous remix. It’s a genuine reimagining that feels true to the original while bringing it to a new era. I remember plenty of us thought it was an MJ-approved mix.

Personally, not a big fan of the demo. It doesn’t have the same propulsion. I’ve even grown somewhat fond of Timbaland’s remix.
