I was watching Pez Jax review of the Blue Sapphire birthday celebrations on YouTube, and I really enjoyed seeing the immersive experiences of the different songs. I also enjoyed seeing his framed records.
Anyone unsure of what I am referencing can look up:
It made me think about how popular an MJ immersive experience would be if it was open to the public and would be such a great way to celebrate his art.
That got me thinking about having it as part of a museum experience. Then I just let my fantasy run wild
If you could dream up a MJ museum, where would it be and what would you have in it?
Ideally I would want the museum part of it to be in Neverland, but Hayvenhurst would be good too. (Maybe even the home in GI, but I think it would lack space for all I imagine). I would want to see iconic clothes/awards/personal photos/objects of interest in this section. I think it will be a good place to put in Jackson 5/Jackson's memorabilia.
I would want an immersive experience of MJ songs like they did in the sapphire celebrations but even better, I would want this as an attraction separate from the property building but within the property. What other songs would make a good immersive experience? Any ideas?
I would want MJs presence to be peppered in through the use of voiceovers, handwritten notes, and videos of him talking. I think we need the original History statue in there somewhere too.
And then another building or separate part of the building dedicated to different rooms, such as a section dedicated to dance as a dance room. And I think there needs to be a Jackson 5/Jackson's room. Also I read that MJ kept gifts from fans worldwide, would be lovely to have a section that showcased some of these, a fan room to show how much he loved his fans. And a studio room dedicated to his process in creating music.
Or instead of the above maybe have a room dedicated to each decade of his life containing a mix of elements above?
I even think the immersive experience part of it could be taken worldwide like the immersive Van Gogh experience.
Would love to hear what you would want to see in a Michael Jackson museum. Please share
Ps, also loved how the SC outfit was displayed in the lean pose in the glass box, think it would be really good to have the thriller cover outfit in the album cover pose, and even the Grammy outfit in a pose where he is holding all the Grammy's in his arms.
