Elvis Fans Make Me SICK!!!

I guarantee if Michael Jackson was a white man then most people would have no problem accepting that he is the greatest entertainer that ever lived. However, in the US, African-American entertainers (and African-Americans in general) are never truly given the credit they deserved for all the their hard work. It is only centuries later that only a few African-Americans are being recognized for their contributions to the building of this nation. From infrastructure, appliances, equipment, art, music, food, education, politics, fashion. We have touched all corners of this great nation. We had our ideas stolen, only to watch others profit from it. We had little or no recourse. What makes me upset is that when we are successful, there are always others trying to tear us down or label us a sellout. Michael was a kind and genuine person. From his heart he helped others of all races, creeds, religion. Yet when the time came to show him support, very few stood behind him. I love Michael and always have since I was 5. I'm tired of seeing all the bashing about a man that surpassed EVERY musical artist in history. He fought hard against his agressors and won. You don't have to be a fan of MJ, but at least give him the respect he has earned and truly deserves. It's okay if you are an Elvis fan and not an MJ fan or vice versa. However, this is an MJ fan site. Those of you who have the nerve to call yourselves fans, yet you come on here to bash Michael, should be ashamed of yourselves. I'm not a fan of Elvis or his daughter, but I dont' go on their fansites and bash them! If that is how you truly feel, then you should no longer be a part of this site. This site is for people who truly love and respect the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. Haters do not belong here. :angry:

I'm pretty sure he did. Where do you think he got the standing on the toes move from? It wasen't his move. It was Elvis' move. and I highly doubt Michael copied it out of spite. I think Elvis inspired Michael. We should respect that.]

and seriously. If I see one more person go into that group and flaming it, I will NOT be happy. I will lose respect of anyone who starts a fan war.
 
This is going nowhere productive. Why all the comparisons all the time, can't see the point.
