Jason seems to be one of the good guys after all.
I can already hear him singing...Jason wants attention. People with certain expectation would love to give him that attention. In the era of social media, attention is all you need.
Hopefully, Jason will allow us to learn the true story soon. However, it's worth noting that he remained silent for a very, very long time, as if he had something to hide.I think bashing Jason is kind of unfair, especially since we don’t actually know what happened behind the scenes.
But he knew the truth and remained silent. He could have said something on the day of release. He could have uploaded a video of himself singing those damn three songs. Presumably, he was hoping for a great opportunity to be able to sing "new" MJ songs from now on.The songs existed since MJ was alive. He recorded those vocals ages ago. What the Casios did with them after MJ passed doesn’t really involve him at all.
This doesn’t align with the podcast revelations though, which seem to make it rather clear that Eddie and James created the versions we know today after MJ’s death. None of the registered versions feature anyone other than James.my guess is, those songs were intended for Jason initially in 2007 and were recorded for his album. Eddie Ca$hio took them after Michael's death. I don't believe MJ would record something like Burn Tonight or the other rip-offs of older songs.
some of Jason's unreleased music (soundcloud) heavily sample old MJ tracks and he released one tribute song on an album. MJ was his idol, i doubt he would record fake songs on purpose.
it's also highly possible he and James Porte should have been on background vocals only (+ demo vocals) and Eddie produced those demos for MJ.
Can’t know everything about everything, that’s not conducive to discussion anywayWhat’s so hard to accept is the lack of easily available knowledge, even by s. c. hardcore fans & the matter of fact way in which those same fans state their (wrong) beliefs.
Jason recorded his vocals AFTER MJ had died.
Fiddy's story was that MJ's team did hit him up shortly before his death to propose a possible collaboration, but he only got to listen to the song after MJ's death and that it sounded like Thriller 2, so I know he was lying about the Thriller 2 partUH??????
Two things: does this imply that 50 knew? Also, wishful thinking, but does anyone think that this could be in response to the Cascio abuse allegations? Jason is finally deciding to do the right thing and also illustrate the Cascios as proven liars?
I remember hearing about that. I’m just curious if at any point during production 50 was told about the vocal concerns.Fiddy's story was that MJ's team did hit him up shortly before his death to propose a possible collaboration, but he only got to listen to the song after MJ's death and that it sounded like Thriller 2, so I know he was lying about the Thriller 2 part
He didn’t.If he recorded the songs as demos during Michael's lifetime, there's not much to criticize.
If you listened to Faking Michael then you would know that everything you state here is factually incorrect.my guess is, those songs were intended for Jason initially in 2007 and were recorded for his album. Eddie Ca$hio took them after Michael's death. I don't believe MJ would record something like Burn Tonight or the other rip-offs of older songs.

I'm curious on who exactly hit him up. And why would he hail it as Thriller 2 if there were vocal concernsI remember hearing about that. I’m just curious if at any point during production 50 was told about the vocal concerns.
What did 50 Cent reply?
