Favorite and or least favorite encounter with an MJ impersonator?

My favorite was when one approached me downtown and complimented the fedora I was wearing. Think he asked where he'd be able to buy one like it or if he could buy mine haha.
There was a Michael Jackson tribute artist name Kenny Wizz - based in Las Vegas, although originally from Los Angeles. In the 2010s, he toured Asia and Australia with his HIStory tour and aimed to bring an identical MJ concert to fans.

Also he came to the theatre lobby after each show to sign autographs and "meet n' greets" - so after each show, he spent at least an extra hour signing autographs and talking to fans. He was very good and friendly with fans.

He signed my This Is It DVD with "L.O.V.E". ☺️ It may not be the real thing but it's pretty close! A true entertainer and a remarkable MJ impersonator. 🥰

I went to see one of Ben Bowman's tribute shows in 2012 and it was a lot of fun. The atmosphere was great and not a single person in the theatre wasn't up and out of their seat dancing. I met him briefly afterwards and he was very sweet and took a picture with me. I was 13 and so nervous to meet someone who was even dressed as Michael...I remember my hands shaking a lot.

Most of the MJ tribute artists I've met have been amazing, and I do have faves as the ones I've known over the years are sweet and look for me at certain shows because I was always there to support them. I appreciate their dedication (the nice ones). Because I have too many stories, I'll share the most hilarious one. I went to Cali during Michael week in California a few years back and met a MJ Tribute artist in downtown LA, not too far from Mike's star but not super close. Anyhoo, we had a nice conversation. He said, "It gets hard sometimes because some people feel they can disrespect MJ tribute artist." And then, mid-sentence, he dropped his in-character MJ voice, used his real/deepish one, and said, "Until I start talking like this. I don't play that sh*t." Lol. He then asked if I was gonna be at Forest Lawn the next day and that he might come through with his boys, meaning his fellow MJ tribute artist friends. So, just so y'all know, the MJ tribute artist in Cali don't play! I was so tickled. He is definitely my type of vibe. 😂❤️💯

P.S. I love Michael's soft voice but also his deeper one. However, the exchange with the tribute artist was just a hilarious moment. Trust, I know men with soft voices who can kick butt when need be. However, there are people who are dumb and equate a soft voice to being weak. So, I understood why the tribute artist "said what he said."

To me there is no such thing as ok/good or great MJ impersonator especially when it comes to singing.
