What are you guys' favorite songs that came out in Bad Era (1987-1989)? Of course this is a pretty ridiculous question to post a thread about but, I'd just like to hear others opinions. My favorite songs are either Speed Demon, Liberian Girl, or Get It. Overall though, all of the songs released in the Bad Era are great IMO those are just the few I'd chose if I absolutely HAD to. So, what are yours?

They could be ANY SONGS RELEASED during the Bad Era. Stuff like The Original Soul of Michael Jackson can be in your lists since they are new remixes!

Man in the mirror, that's actually my favorite michael Jackson song,it speaks to me

"another part of me" is one of my favourite songs, as well as "leave me alone" - I love how many "layers" the chorus has, don't know the correct english term for it, hope you know what I mean 😅.

So many. Almost the whole album. I think TWYMMF and Dirty Diana were the songs that got me into MJ. Then I got really into Bad and Smooth Criminal.

You mean the multi tracking? Yeah, some songs have up to about 8 layers of vocals. It's cool to listen carefully and try to hear them all.

Yep, thanks. And then you also try to hear every single instrument and you start to go crazy, bcs it's too much for your brain - but in a good way 😅

Probably a tie between Smoothe Criminal, Man in the Mirror and Bad :) I really love those songs!

I do like most of the songs on the album. But personally, I like Leave Me Alone. I also like the songs that didn't make it on the album, such as: Cheater, Streetwalker, and Al Capone (even though it's the demo for SC, I still like it).

"Another Part of Me" is one of my favourite MJ songs ever. This song, those LYRICS, the live performances have my heart

I consider it Michael´s love song to his fans (his live performances of it make me so happy)

Man in the Mirror, TWYMMF, Smooth Criminal and Another Part of Me. I think Bad is the best album.

My favorite song from Bad era is Liberian Girl and my boyfriend's fave song is Man In The Mirror (that's actually his favorite song by Mike!) : )

Man In The Mirror, Another Part Of Me or Smooth Criminal.

I love majority of the stuff that Michael worked on during the Bad era. That was Michael at his creative peak, in my opinion.

I always get a kick out of watching all of Chris Liepe’s MJ multitrack youtube videos. I think I have watched pretty much everything. You gain so much more appreciation for all of MJ’s songs. He did a really good deep dive of Dirty Diana vocals which i loved so much.

Do You Know Where Your Children Are
