Five minutes with Jackson?

Five minutes would never be enough for me because I'd want to chat with him about my special interests, the things we share in common. But if five mins is all I have, then I would ask him if he wanted to be my friend. He went walking around the neighborhood in the 80s asking people that question, but I bet nobody ever posed that question to him.

I know :( When I heard him talking about how he'd go for walks just hoping to find somebody to talk to, it broke my heart. I hate that he had to experience such loneliness. I've been to that place many, many times and it is so painful. Loneliness, not being understood, hating yourself, feeling like nobody cares about you... it's a recipe for disaster. If I could go back in time and do one thing, it would be to befriend him and just absorb all his pain. Maybe it sounds crazy, but I would rather take on that pain for him, so he would never have to feel it.

Five minutes with Michael? I'd like to listen to some music with him. I was tempted to go for 5 minutes spent sitting together and contemplating a beautiful landscape. No need for conversation, just peace and quiet. Even better would be to spend the five minutes watching the moon rise or set. Watching the moon set on a summer's morning is pretty amazing. So that would work.

But, in the end, I had to go for music.

There are hundreds of songs I'd like to choose but I'm going with these:

Queen - Lazing On A Sunday Afternoon - 1m 15s. Very English and very, very silly. We could have a laugh mucking about to this one.

Queen - Yeah - 4s.

Smokey Robinson and the Miracles - Going To A Go-Go - 3m 36s

Which leaves about 5 seconds to say Hello / Goodbye. Which, now I come to think of it, would be an awesome song to listen to but it's about 3.5 mins. I'm not giving up that much time to the Beatles, lol. It's gotta be Smokey.

You would meet Michael and then proceed to watch the moon. You can see the moon everyday. šŸ˜‚
For just 5 min I would probably just stare a bit and hope he is a good conversationalist because I am not.

You are a peasant. :ROFLMAO:

I'm still struggling with this scenario bc as much as I want to listen to music with Michael I also want to share some silence with him. Michael would totally be up for it. I'm confident of that.

I suppose we could listen to Smokey and then spend 90 seconds watching the moon. That might work.

He would be. And he'd be used to chatting to someone and putting them at their ease. Yes, he was shy but he was also used to meeting people / fans who got a bit tongue-tied in his presence so he'd know how to deal with that. And he was kind and loving so he wouldn't leave you floundering.

I wouldn't have any probs talking to Michael but I'd rather communicate with him by watching the moon - in silence - or by listening to music. Both of them are powerful ways to communicate and connect.

Laughing together is also a good way to connect which is why I'm including the 'Sunday Afternoon' song by Queen. It is brilliant but it's so ridiculous and silly, I can't imagine us listening to it and not laughing together.

I would just give him a loving hug…and tell him he is amazing..

Lots of people would go:

Whaaaaaaaaaaaa I love you waaaaaaaaaaaahahahaaaaaaaaaaa I love you youuuuuuuuuuu *sudden silence after fainting* followed by people rushing in to drag them away.

I remember this thread. Yeah absolutely what i said before. Creating :) not so much conversation.

That's a hard one... and a heartbreaking one too!
I mean I would have to thank him for everything... probably would spend the whole 5 minutes crying.
And I would ask him for advise... about his spirituality and connection to God! And about his definition of love.
And maybe if he liked ducks, since ducks are my favourite animal... But yeah, I'd probably cry the 5 minutes and then cry EVEN MORE because he'S gone again...

I would say thank you to him and that I admire his beautiful soul and kind heart. That he is a very strong man. Despite the fact that people hurt him, he did not break down and did not change for the worse. He remained a kind man. He is an example for many. I respect and love him very much. Wherever he is, I send him my energy of love and support. I have loved him since I was 3 years old, after 30 years I can say that I will always love him! And for me, he is the most beautiful man in the world. At any age, he is the most handsome man!

I would ask him if we should burn the vault of his demoes or let timbaland Contemporize them all

And if he sang the Casio tracks

And if he liked the Zaldy outfits.

I might be really rude and eavesdrop on your 5 mins, lol. I'd love to know what he thought of the Zaldy outfits. I know he liked bling but they were just OTT and not in a good way, imo. :D

I thought they was all cool

Now I think they're all cool, but impractical.

What would your questions be?
By the end of my 5 minutes, the seed would be planted to re-attempt the intimate show. All live vocals. One night. Not 50. Broadcast rights. Blu-ray following. Cha-ching. Future generations would watch it like they watch the Elvis '68 comeback.

I would asked him, why he decided to make Invincible track list like that? Why he didn't include masterpieces like Hollywood Tonight and The Way You Love Me

Michael did a fan event in Japan in early 2007 where fans could meet him and have a photo with him. I heard he charged people $3000 US for the experience, so it was sort of like a VIP event. I’m sure Michael would have briefly talked with the fans and they asked him questions.

Anyway, to answer your question, I may ask him how is he finding the country/ city he is currently living in?

This is a question I asked myself many times. If I only had 5minutes with Michael Jackson in Private what would I do? I probably should ask him about how he creates music. What would your questions be?
i would tell him how much he means to me... i would try to reassure him about the press and give him compliments :) i would also start a conversation about how similar we are because that is the main reason why i love him so much
