GIF in Signature

Hi There,

I was wondering why I can't upload any gifs or images on my signature?
I want to put a gif image on my signature but I cant do it since I am not allowed to do it. Anyone who knows why?

You can't upload images for your signature. You can link to them though. So you can upload the gif you want to photobucket or a similar site and then post it in your signature like you would normally post it on the forum. Make sure you respect the requirements.

That's what I did. When I do that a little torn paper sheet comes on my signature. It doesn't show the gif

^^If the gif is from fanpop, that's what it usually does when you post gifs or pics from that site to forums. If that's the case, try to upload it to tinypic, tumblr or photobucket. I uploaded mine in PB.

I have done that. I uploaded it yesterday to imageshack... or doesnt imageshack work for gifs here on the forum?

It should. Sometimes, the links break though. I know Fanpop is really bad, but Imageshack is ok as far as I know. Try inserting it by the "insert image" button instead of typing in the

It worked!! I think it didn't support imageshack. I re-uploaded it on photobucked and all of sudden that one worked. THANK YOU GUYS!

On imageshack it used to support gifs but no more. Now I'll have to reupload mine because I spent my free 10 megas or gigas on that account but you could see yesterday they were showing.
