Thought about introducing something here for fun or debate, it is up to you.
I’m gonna play out each track from both albums against eachother and all you need to do is say which one you like most. Since Invincible has 1 track more than HIStory I decided to include the 5 new songs that were in BOTDF and included 4 officially released Invincible outtakes to make so that each track has a “battle”. My own picks are the bolded ones
Here goes:
1 Scream vs Unbreakable
2 They don’t care about us vs heartbreaker
3 Stranger in Moscow vs invincible
4 This time around vs break of dawn
5 Earth Song vs heaven can wait
6 D.S vs you rock my world
7 Money vs butterflies
8 Come together vs speechless
9 You are not alone vs 2000 watts
10 Childhood vs you are my life
11 Tabloid junkie vs privacy
12 2bad vs don’t walk away
13 HIStory vs cry
14 Little Susie vs the lost children
15 Smile vs whatever happens
16 Blood on the dancefloor vs threatened
17 Superfly sister vs shout
18 Morphine vs we’ve had enough
19 Ghosts vs xscape
20 Is it scary vs one more chance
So the HIStory era wins 15 to 5 imo. Though there were some impossible matchups like morphine vs we’ve had enough. I had to pick one but love them both.
