I'm asking everyone that on Aug 29, 2009 at 12pm (your own region's ), sing "HEAL THE WORLD" by MJ. The POSITIVE energy that this would generate into the world would be tremendous! And what better way to honor MJ's birthday then to sing his song about healing the world and bringing peace?!
 
Man that is so weird, I was thinking about something very simliar the other day. Only I figured what it would be like if fans all over the world do it at the SAME time. To pick one time and have all the fans come out and hold hands, and sing the song. It'd get massive media coverage and really highlight his message.
 
Ok, so I was thinking if I won the lottery (I know, I know) that I would rent a pretty huge building and invite people I knew and didn't know who loved Michael. Have huge screens playing all of his videos and have dinner and dancing etc.

And then I woke up from my dream...

I shall raise a glass and shout "Cheers" to our beloved Michael.
 
Yes that sounds good too. Same time EVERYWHERE. Well, how about 12pm Montreal, Canada time...? I'm getting as many people as I can to participate here in Montreal, Quebec. And am even going to try to get radio stations to play "heal the world" at 12 pm. But even if it isn't the SAME time everywhere, my goal is to get that song sung by as many people as possible over those 24 hrs.

And it wouldn't matter about media coverage, although it would be cool, as long as it's kept positive.

Raise your glass, say cheers, and sing "heal the world"... at 12 pm it's free

I like the idea holding hands! At the same time from each country =) i would love to do it in Kuwait! even tho there's only few MJ fans.

Then do it... get as many people as you can . And even if it's only you, doesn't matter.. At 12 pm , sing "heal the world". It will make a difference.
 
great idea you try and stop me singing it :)
isn't there going to be a concert at the o2 on what would have been his 51st birthday or is that just another rummor ??
 
Heard there are going to be 2 concerts, on Aug 29 and 30. But don't know if it's fact.
 
I'll be up in Manchester on this day but I'll put Heal The World on at 12o'clock and sing it. Feel bad.
 
I was hoping to have a party in his honour with my close friends...and have a water balloon fight. :D I just want to do happy things and try not to get all weepy.

Then we're going to watch some of his short films and Moonwalker while...under the influence. heh

Awww, what an incredibly sweet way to celebrate. I'm not a drinker but find myself suddenly fond of the last part.

What a beautiful idea...
Ive not yet had a chance of my own to say goodbye to michael so Im still heavily grieving his death and have planned to meet with a close friend on Michaels birthday in Brighton to say goodbye and celebrate his birthday...

We will be reading his song gone too soon plus some tributes we wrote then we plan to scatter some earth into the sea which will represent both michaels life and the planet he loved so much so we will sing HEAL THE WORLD as we do this...

We will then go on some rides and end at a church where we will light a candle for michael and say a prayer...

Any fans in the East/West Sussex area who can get to the Brighton Pier are more than welcome to join us...

I will post a time when it has been confirmed as to when my friends coach will arrive from London...
 
I thought the same thing too, about gathering up worldwide at certain places, like O2 in London and Staples in the US, not sure about the rest of the world, and singing together the song Cry at a time that we would be able to do it together.
 
Me And My Cousin Have Been Singing That Song Alllll Week Coz We Been On Holiday And We Sing Our Hearts Out :D We Are 12 And We LOVE That Song So We Will Be Joining At 12pm on his b-daii xx
