How do y'all think MJ would have handled the Pandemic?

I think he would feel very comfortable and peaceful, getting to stay in, not having to deal with people. He would probably love Zoom and he might even do some virtual concerts like Ariana Grande and other performers did. Which is an amazing idea, that's inspired the post.

Also, do you think MJ would stream video games on Twitch lol, cause I do.
 
Oh, I think Michael would spend a lot of time online, interacting with people, maybe creating some kind of online meetings. Anything that could morally help people. I am sure that he would have done everything he could to help people in such a difficult period. Perhaps against this background something new in terms of creativity would be born.
 
He certainly wouldn't have a problem wearing a face covering that's for sure. šŸ˜‚

I'm not so sure he would have done anything, he was pretty private so would have enjoyed not being harassed all the time.

As for social media, could you imagine him uploading random selfies to twitter or Instagram? I certainly couldn't.

11 years after This is it, who knows what his mindset would have been like.
 
It is extremely unlikely that Michael Jackson would have engaged in social media (by uploading random selfies to Twitter, Instagram, etc) during the pandemic and onwards.

Keep in mind that the singer had chosen to follow a different pattern of behaviour by remaining mysterious, cryptic, and even reclusive, and he was not going to change that all of a sudden.

Some people even predicted that Michael Jackson, if he lived and got older, he would have gone into complete seclusion, just like the American business magnate Howard Hughes.
 
This is an interesting topic! A lot of it comes back to the question of what we think his relationship to social media would have been. Personally, I think he would have been VERY sparing with social media, if he really used it at all. But that aside, I could see him posting encouraging videos (kind of in the same way he shared Christmas messages to fans) to remind people to stay positive and healthy and to contribute to the greater good. I could also see him doing a single release to raise money, paying medical bills, and funeral expenses. I do not see him being silent about it.
 
I think he wouldā€™ve isolated himself and his kids (assuming they still lived with him) at home until the vaccine came out and things started getting back to normal. Maybe heā€™d take another swing at a charity single. Make some jokes about making public mask-wearing popular. But thatā€™s about it.

I donā€™t think MJ would go within spitting distance of social media though. His bodyguards used to peruse magazines and bookshelves before he saw them to ensure that there werenā€™t any new headlines or slanderous claims. I canā€™t imagine he would have the willingness/strength to cope with the toxicity of online culture. Heā€™d probably have assistants run his accounts and passively approve/reject things.
 
Hmm when I saw this topic I had to laugh! I could imagine this yes! I think he would be on internet a lot to escape his reality life and he really like to talk to other people and share great ideas or some fun things ! I think he would read alot and make some music write some songs and do some meditation haha I love this!šŸ˜†šŸ¤£

But no, I'm not choosing to include Instagram or Twitter in this discussion. MJ was smart and already online, in forums and whatnot. He'd definitely flock to say, Reddit or somewhere, a place with lots of knowledge. Twitter, not so, and Instagram, it's quite vapid. Professionally his page would be maintained though, just like Janet's or so.

And we all know MJ loved video games so I think in that regard he would probably want to share that with the fans. It's really a fun way to share things like that.

As for virtual concerts, that's just a potential idea.

I think MJ would use social media. Posting selfies is like the lowest rung of it, but no one does that unless they want to, usually cause that's all they know. To post his, art, poems, maybe photography if he did that, I'd see him loving that.

He would turn on comment limits a lot perhaps.

He would have encouraged people but I don't think he would have called for vaccinations
 
Regarding the face mask , i think it is pretty clear that it was worn to hide his surgeries while healing and what not and possibly when in Japan for smog.

I vaguely recall a Tweet they made with a picture of him in a mask telling everyone to stay safe, wash their hands, mask up, etc. while the pandemic was still going on. Can't recall the exact date but I think the picture they used was from the HIStory era.
 
He would have promised an all-star charity single to raise funds for the people who lost loved ones. Nothing would have come of it.
