So it doesn't look like my How Many People Collect Michael Jackson Vinyl Records thread turned out as I thought. I guess the majority of people are not interested in vinyl records.

So I thought I would ask this question on MJ CD Singles. As most true MJ fans, I love to collect anything Michael Jackson. That also includes his CD Singles.

So does anybody have a collection of CD Singles?

I have collected vynil on MJ for many years, not just singles but albums too. Love the different sound you get and of course you also get the larger booklets which is always a bonus.

No. Been a fan for about 4 years, but still haven't even thought about getting one. It never crossed my mind.
I think I don't have high expectations for all the remixes.
I might check out some of them and then only I'll be able to make up my mind.

I just love collecting vinyl, love the feel of it and the sound when played. It's always a bonus too when they add special feautures like 'pop ups' etc. I have loads of 7"s, 12"'s and albums in vynil.

I collect CD singles leisurely, so my collection is pretty small.

Some of the MJ Singles are not that bad with all the remixes. My personal favorite is the Stranger In Moscow CD Singles. Obviously, not all the remixes are great, but some truly are good, in my opinion. Some of the singles have the original song plus just the instrumental version of the song too, like the Black or White CD Single. I love those! I have a thing for instrumentals.

And I'm sure you know this, as I love all MJ CDs, Vinyl LPs and 45s, part of it is the album/single artwork or picture sleeve. I love the various images of MJ!

I guess that's what I'm gonna be, when I finally start buying cd singles.
This thread got me thinking about it, for real.

Thanks for the suggestion. I might wanna get the SIM single and the ITC single first.
Esp. ITC, cuz for some reason I think most of the remixes will be pretty hot, of course, if they didn't mess with the original too much.

I have the US CD Single for In The Closet, and most of the remixes are not bad. Obviously nothing beats just pure MJ, but this Single is good.

I would recommend, the Black or White and The Way You Make Me Feel CD Singles. Black or White has the instrumental version and The Way You Make Me Feel has the extended dance version. I think there is also another CD version with the instrumental of The Way You Make Me Feel. I would have to look it up in my MJ discography book.

Another good one is the Blood On The Dance Floor Single. The remixes are good. I would recommend the US version for that, as it has the most remixes.

I appreciate all the info.
The extended version of TWYMMF, that sounds like the kind of remix I'd love to get my hands on.
Good, I'll def. check out the US version of BOTDF single.

As a matter of fact, I'm cool with many remixes, unless it's on some boring house beats.
So, you probably wouldn't see me buying a cd single that only has house remixes.
