I can't stop thinking how horrible this is...

All Michael ever wanted was to change the world. He loved life and loved everybody in it. He wrote his feelings through his music and wanted peace and love in the world. He hated greed and wanted everybody to get along.

Yet the one thing that killed him was GREED. The thing he worked so hard to abolish was the one thing that killed him. He was pressured into doing everything. He couldn't make his own decisions. Everybody around him was so greedy and wanted money. That's all they wanted from him, and because of their greed, Michael is dead.

It's ironic, and extremely sad. This world is a cruel cruel place and I'll never forgive the people in it.
 
I agree with you - I hate the greedy, media-driven, money-obsessed world we live in.
But it is the way it is, and we just...have to deal with it, I guess? Do our best to not get sucked in.
Michael wanted to make the world a better place, and I believe that he did - he had the talent that made it possible to influence people, to spread his message of love and peace. And I always believed that we, his fans, should try and do the same. On a much smaller scale, obviously, but lots of little good things we do amount to a lot when you look at the bigger picture, right? :)
You hang in there, sweetie, stay strong.
 
when people are feeling sad and depressed the world can seem an intolerable place but trust me its not as evil as people think. they are so many good people in the world people who fight for a better today and tomorrow people who care about others
 
Hi there, I've been through some bad times the last few years including going bankrupt due to ill health. Recently I've been feeling like you, not too enthusiastic about things but then I've started thinking well while we are here all we can do is try to make the world a better place. I put this on my facebook status the other day:

if life feels a struggle and not much makes sense,do something good like helping someone else-even if its helping an elderly person off the bus with shopping.The only answer to bad times is to put some good back in the world.2 wrongs never make a right however unfair life is :)

I feel its true lets just put more good into the world as it needs it :) *hugs* to you all x

That's true.:yes:
I've been helping homless animals at the shelter - feeding them, bringing them warm blankets to snuggle in and hugging them, giving them the love they all crave and deserve... Been doing that for years, but since Michael's gone it's been especially comforting.
 
It is ironic, and desperately sad. Money is the root of all evil, yet success brings money. So you do well, recieve the cash that comes with it, and then all the leeches come in and destroy everything they can to get their grubby little mitts on anything they can. It's horrible.

Isn't it weird that something that mankind created, is slowly destroying the world?? Money, wasn't created by god, it was man that made it up, now it rules the world...how sad.
But there is hope, there is still good in the world, there are alot of good people right here in this forum that do want to change the world.

Michael had a message that he delivered to all of us, It's up to us to carry on his message now x

Michael made this world a better place.

Now it's up to us.

And I think we will if we make it to keep his legacy, that's one way for us to do so.
 
yes he made it a better place but he deserved some respect for that and some recognition, not the insults he received his entire life

I 100 % agree with this. It's truly sad, isn't it.
There is also a lot of violence in this world.
It's heartbreaking, because Michael has build his Neverland Ranch for children, but also for adults to become and find the child inside them. Never loose the child in you. I hope Michael's message to make a better world will reach a lot of other people.
 
So true. I want to make the world a less greedy, egotistical place in his honor. I don't know how much I can do, but I want to try. I wish everyone could be as altruistic as Michael was.
 
try doing something nice for yourself or for some stranger. it could help. i try not to think about how horrible the world is because if i get sucked into that whole mindset (and sometimes its unavoidable) i tend to sink like a stone in water. the first few weeks were very tough and there are some days when i think oh god i cant do this anymore but then life tilts the other way and you find the strength to carry on.
 
Go to the focus, focus, focus thread and read that you will get a positive feeling about Michaels life and remember what his message was. As well as get ideas of how to make the change. We can still be the change he sang about. We can be his army and spread the message and do the good.
 
I think that we are all getting over the pain now in a way. Yes, it still hurts, yes we still want him back, and yes we think that we need a leader.

We don't, he taught us the message and we learned it well (that is why it hurt so bad that he isn't here). We can do this. We can work together and make the message a reality. Let do this. Lets work together.
