If Michael Jackson wasn't a musician, what career would have he been?

He could have been a school teacher for children, in music or some other artistic subject.

Since he really wanted to help people and animals, he could have set up charities for the homeless, the disabled, animals’ welfare, improve education, etc.

Some realistic ideias here, but he would probably would be whatever Joe wanted him to be. Joe first tried to be a boxer. Imagine MJ a boxer lol. There is actually a video of him and Ali where he surprised him with fast hands

here are some possible careers that he could have been:

• Dancer: Jackson was known for his amazing dance moves, such as the moonwalk and the robot, which he popularized and innovated. He was inspired by dancers such as Gene Kelly, Fred Astaire, and James Brown, and he studied different styles of dance, such as ballet, tap, and jazz. He also choreographed many of his own routines and videos. If he wasn't a musician, he could have been a professional dancer, a choreographer, or a dance teache.

• Actor: Jackson had some experience in acting, both on stage and on screen. He starred in the 1978 musical film The Wiz, where he played the Scarecrow, and he also appeared in several TV shows, such as The Simpsons, Men in Black II, and The Jacksons: An American Dream. He also expressed interest in playing roles such as Peter Pan, Willy Wonka, and Spider-Man. He was a fan of movies and had a large collection of films and memorabilia. If he wasn't a musician, he could have been an actor, a director, or a producerhttps://lemelson.mit.edu/resources/michael-jackson.

• Artist: Jackson had a passion for art and creativity, and he enjoyed drawing, painting, and sculpting. He had a personal art studio and a gallery, where he displayed his own works and those of other artists. He also collaborated with some famous artists, such as Andy Warhol, David Nordahl, and Brett-Livingstone Strong. He was influenced by artists such as Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and Norman Rockwell. If he wasn't a musician, he could have been an artist, an illustrator, or an art collector .

• Writer: Jackson was a prolific songwriter, who wrote or co-wrote many of his own songs, such as "Billie Jean", "Beat It", "Bad", and "Black or White". He also wrote poems, essays, and stories, some of which were published in his 1988 autobiography Moonwalk and his 1992 book Dancing the Dream. He was inspired by writers such as Edgar Allan Poe, Ralph Waldo Emerson, and Lewis Carroll. He also loved reading and had a large library of books. If he wasn't a musician, he could have been a writer, a poet, or a journalist .

These are just some of the possible careers that Michael Jackson might have pursued if he wasn't a musician. Of course, he was a musician, and a very successful one, who influenced many artists across different genres and generations. He was also a humanitarian, a philanthropist, and a cultural icon, who touched the lives of millions of people around the world. He was a unique and talented individual, who left a lasting legacy in music and beyond.

you guys must consider that they don't had the connections right from the start.
Would an MJ of a poor family in Gary Idiana be discovered as an actor for example? Also he clearly had no (special) talent for that.
rhythm was his main talent....and his energy

I think it depends on how you interpret the question. For me, it's just a fantasy question, just a bit of fun. There's no way anyone can know what Michael would have done if he'd had a different life so I just treated the question as a kind of day-dream.

Dolly Parton, Selena Gomez, James Brown, Leonardo DiCaprio, Stevie Wonder, Nicki Minaj, Sly Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Viola Davis - they all came from poor backgrounds. A performing artist can come from any type of background. It's easier if you have connections but it's not essential.

Also he clearly had no (special) talent for that.
Agreed.
