If you could tell everyone to buy one of Michael's albums what would you pick?

For me i'd go with Invincible since it's really strong with 2000 Watts, Unbreakable, Break of Dawn, Heartbreaker, You Rock my World, Invincible and doesn't get enough credit. But let's say you have a global platform to plug one of his albums like we are talking massive Payola, marketing campaigns, radio airplay, puff pieces etc, which are you going with?

I would go with Invincible too. The SONY WARS really tarnished its reputation in the fan community, people making assumptions about the songs because they dont have the same emotional connections to them like songs from BAD, Dangerous and History.

Invincible album is largely unknown to general public and casual fans, again due to SONY WARS.

There is a reason why songs like Thriller, Billie Jean, and the songs from BAD era are high profile pop culture songs known by general public and casual fans. It is because general public and casual fans have an emotional connection to them. Thriller was just a beast, Billie Jean had Motown 25 and Bad album had Bad tour.

Imagine if Invincible album had a song which captured the emotional connection to general public and casual fans, a pop culture viral moment that people could name even if they were not born when it happened. The album never had a chance for so many reasons.

One of the reasons - Michael himself. He wasn't able to promote album in a condition he was by that time...

It would be Invincible, because, it is an album where Michael expresses himself emotionally, with different style of music

Dangerous/Bad all the way!

I feel like Michael had pretty bad and strained vocals on the invincible album. he sounded more like he was screaming and it just seemed like he put half effort into it...I do like heartbreaker, whatever happens (the vocals towards the end don't sound super good) heaven can wait (but mid song the vocals go down hill) butterflies is mid (it little redundant and his voice is flat but the opening is smooth) that album vocal wise is a little painful to listen too but I love the lyrics and how he experimented with different styles and thought outside the box

Those are fighting words

Yes I was at the Invincible cd signing at Virgin Megastore in Times Square. Yes I did talk to him at the cd signing. We also talked him outside the hotel the next day , when he went shopping at FAO Swartz.
Lucky you:)
