In the early 2000s (2000-2009), did Michael ever talk about reality TV?

I'm referring to reality TV like The Osbournes, Survivor, Big Brother and even talent shows like American Idol and X-Factor. They were pretty popular on TV at the time (and this was pre-internet/ social media).

I can't find any statements about Michael on his thoughts on reality TV and if he considered appearing in one. LaToya had her own reality TV show for a while ("Life With LaToya"), and some of the Jackson brothers (e.g. Jermaine) had appeared as guest judges on talent shows (Australian Idol).

There were always rumors about him showing up on shows like X-Factor or American Idol, but the management at the time kept shutting those down or just saying he'd turn down any invites like that.

His brothers did, and they wanted him to appear I'm pretty sure.

American Idol is not pre-Internet lol.

Facebook was pretty widely used by 2008. Before that, people used Myspace, which started in 2003.
