It sounds Michael singing higher notes on the album speed and correct one his voice is deeper like a baritone. Probably many of you are aware the technicalities in music, I'm more a fan appreciating.
You're probably on to something. This wouldn't be the first time that Mike and Bruce speeded things up to make it sound more tight, many tracks on the Bad album went through the same process - and all the tracks they did speed up is between keys..
I don't think so. Maybe it's because I've listened to the album version a billion times as it's always been one of my favourite songs, but the slower version his voice sounds a bit unnatural.
