the song never made the top 100 on the official uk singles chart it’s not even on the uk dance chart. it was released two weeks ago and there’s no trace of it anywhere. I listened to the hits stations (capital and kiss) yesterday and the day before for a good few hours, and never heard it once

Kygo usually does well over here (see ‘higher love’). I must admit that I wasn’t too impressed with the remix. it didn’t seem to take off. everything felt flat, and it didn’t hold my interest. I much prefer the one by hi track from the 2000’s, which still gets played today on some stations. still, I was rooting for this song to do well. it would have been a great way to drum up interest in Michael’s music for a new generation.

There was no promotion for it and the remix was quite underwhelming, so it was unlikely to take off organically.
