"Michael", a biopic about Michael Jackson, is officially happening.

That would actually be a cool thought. They could include him either in the RWY video or in MSG. It would be really cool to have an actual celebrity play himself.
Even more importantly, Chris Tucker played an important part in the 2005 allegations. They should definitely have this scene in the biopic and it would be even more meaningful if it was the real Chris Tucker playing himself as he warned Jaafar/Michael about the Arvizos:

Q. When you were trying to warn Michael Jackson about Janet, where was Janet?

A. She was in the next room.

Q. Okay.

A. Yeah.

Q. And did you -- did she ever come to you while you were trying to warn Michael?

A. I mean, it was knocks on the door. I don’t know who it was. But I don’t know who it was at the door, no.

Q. Do you recall Janet saying anything about Michael Jackson being a father to their family?

A. Oh, yes. Oh, yes. That was right before we went in the room. She was frantically -- the same thing. Michael’s the father. I’m the brother. And that’s when -- that’s when I told Michael. I took him in the room, and I was trying to talk to him. I said, “Something ain’t right.” Because I was never around her that much until that point. They came to the house and then in Miami. And I said, “Mike, something ain’t right.”

I’m astonished that they’re actually going all the way through his life. Very interested to see how it works it.
Im not astonished because that's what the director and producers have been saying since the beginning.

WTF why? she played a huge part of her The man in the mirror for his hit very strange 🫤
she didn't play a huge part in his life. Yeah she wrote Man in the Mirror and featured on I Just Can't Stop but what happens after that?

In my opinion I think they will include her but only for those two songs and maybe in the Dangerous World Tour. Or they won't. We'll see next year.

So since she's not in it, she's deciding to write a book? I hope it's not about Michael.

Well it's just that I have watched the bad 25th anniversary on documentary I saw them recording together n she was his backup singer for bad tour concert that why I was really surprise that she wasn't on the list somebody to play her

I do think Siedah matters and she played a very important part in his career, but not necessarily his life.

I can see this film focusing heavily on Michael's relationships and friendships prior to Thriller, to show just how lonely he was when he became a superstar. I'd imagine a big emotional hook for this film will be Michael's loneliness

What I'm getting at is, if you put more collaborators and friends around him, Mike would have seemed isolated and alone.

They recently filmed when mj went to studio 57.......(ummm is that what it was called...)

Siedah co-wrote MITM with Glen Ballard. They also wrote Keep The Faith. Siedah did record IJCSLY with Michael.

No, that was Sheryl Crow. Siedah did backing vocals on the Dangerous tour.

I'm surprised Sheryl Crow had any sort of career after her horrendous background vocals during Billie Jean on the BAD tour 😂

"Very important part" am I missing something?

She (co-wrote) 1 hit song and did a duet because the number 1 choice didnt make it and was just a background singer on a tour.

Sure she had her part and she can be proud of that achievement.

but why are we making all these random people relevant😂

I don't like her voice and I don't like her performance style. Tbf, I haven't watched her outside of BWT 1987 and that is right at the beginning of her career; she might be much better later on. She's certainly built a successful career what with the 50m record sales and the multiple Grammys. But, for me, she has zero charisma and her voice offers me nothing at all.

Then again, the only female backing singer I really like for Michael is Judith Hill. She was great, imo. The only version of IJCSLY that I listen to is the TII version.

I agree about Judith Hill, her voice is amazing and would have been the best duet partner Michael had ever had during the track.

Well you could argue without her input into MITM, Michael doesn't get one of his most instantly recognisable hit songs of his career, which sadly features prominently in posthumous retrospectives and most likely will play a key recurring role in this biopic

And Mike spanked her backside during WDAN live. I mean it doesn't get more vital than that

Because it feels like a quick cash grab [to me]. If she does a book about her life, then I get Michael being mentioned but I hope she doesn't try to make it bigger than it is
No. Siedah would not do that. If you had followed her you would have known that. She has always supported Michael, one hundred percent. The benefits of their relation was mutual, but first and foremost, they were friends.

I get where you are coming from, because many—most!—people wants to make money from Michael’s name. But Siedah is not one of those people.

I've met her more than once. My point is I hope she doesn't do a book to purely focus on Michael.

Do you think plastic surgery will play a part in the biopic?
I think it will play a massive part in the biopic, I would be extremely disappointed if it never.

The reasons why he got it and to the extremes he went through , the trauma , never satisfied with his appearance, the pain from being called ugly and big nose etc.

I also expect vitiligo to be covered and the audience be reminded that he was proud of his race and that vitiligo was something he had, not just made up.
