"Michael", a biopic about Michael Jackson, is officially happening.

Lionsgate: We're really happy with the performance + feedback, it's all positive so far

You, continuously, for some bizarre reason: Well yeah but this film's trailer got slightly more views, the film is going to flop and win no awards!!

Give it a rest.
TBH I read Blues Away's post as "Devil Wears Prada started with great numbers and Michael has significantly gained" no?

I was actually making the point that Michael has now surpassed The Devil Wears Prada 2 trailer.

So you can give it a rest

I saw DWP2 trailer as an ad so that explains the views. For the Michael trailer to surpass that organically says a lot.

this Beltrano account is either a bot or a troll, and is getting tiresome
I'm convinced it's a bot who's been programmed to dripfeed spreadsheets into threads, one line at a time.

the 8th most-viewed theatrical trailer of the year."
If films trailers being watched by other people makes you happy, then go for it.

I don't want to click on the link, but are you saying they recently published an article about his autopsy or is this an old article?
It says 5th Feb.

1. Source?
2. No Man in the mirror in Part 1?
3. Unfortunately, I have the feeling it could be true that they save more of Bad and Dangerous (Tour) for a 2nd part. If all the rumour about it is true.
4. Hot Street as a bridge to Thriller would be awesome. They could say it was a good song, but the other songs were even better. Viewers would want to hear the full Song. And in summer they will release it as a single. Would be a smart Marketing Strategy move by the estate.

What I also noticed is that Joseph initially seems like the boss. But the tables turn when Michael says he needs to think. When he then asks Branca what he intends to do, Michael suddenly acts like the boss.

damn, no Smooth Criminal? no The Way You Make Me Feel? Not even a Man In The Mirror?

also shocked that they gave attention to Hot Street of all things. kinda indicates that the Estate's issues with Q have more than likely been patched up.

Thanks for sharing.

I’ll be honest, looking at the trailers and teasers, it wouldn’t surprise me if all of that was true. So far we’ve seen no smooth
Criminal in the trailer which is a concern.

I really hope it’s not true though . To have the Bad tour but leave out its biggest anthem would be a crime.

Even if the reason was to save it for part 2, there were plenty of others songs they could have used such as heal the world (for part 2)

This literally is An American dream 2.0. They’re not even using the biggest hits , fan favourites like Human Nature 100% and This place hotel , but for the general public, they are expecting to see the big guns.

We’re not even getting to see MJ on the cherry picker during beat it , or the improved Billie Jean routine on tour

This list of songs can not be real.
There is no way we will not get more songs from BAD. I even thought that maybe, somehow we will see Black or white as the last song as teaser for new chapter and then movie will end but I think now it will end like Moonwalker - with Man in the mirror.
In my opinion we will see also Grammy performance with all sad result for Michael.
Last but not least - Smooth criminal is a must! This is significant song with famous moves.
This post on Reddit is a scam.

No songs with Paul McCartney? Common.

For the very last song on credits I would go with Dream Away - this is very nice opportunity to drop the song.

All the hits from Bad will be in the biopic, because for the Estate it is the last true MJ album.

I wouldn't be surprised if the leaked list turns out to be accurate. It would make sense that they save some of his biggest hits for part 2 and don't use all up in part 1. So if part 1 ends with the start of the BAD tour then I would expect part 2 to pick up right there and continue with some more songs from the BAD album. Kind of makes sense because the estate probably thinks a part 2 with only Dangerous, HIStory and Invincible songs wouldn't have enough hits.

I will say, ever since the first teaser, I thought Hot Street would be in the film + released as a single at the same time. It was too strange that it wasn't on Thriller 40.
