"Michael", a biopic about Michael Jackson, is officially happening.

Its interesting what they could/should do in terms of songs if they go through all the eras for a part 2.
Probably black or white for sure as this was a new era.
Badass mj with superbowl, dangerous, history teaser incuding the statue campaign, scream, 2bad choreography would be cool to see.

Why are we acting like music makes it a good movie?

This is a BIOPIC, it's not musical entertainment. If I want musical entertainment there's already plenty of stuff I can watch, Bucharest etc.

I've heard MITM like thousands of times, I don't need to watch somebody lipsync to it.

I didn't say it did! But imagine a movie about Michael that didn't include any!
 
I can't imagine this movie doing less than a billion dollars World wide. By the simple fact that MJ is more popular than Queen and their movie did around a billion 8 years ago ( so with inflated numbers It s even more). If that movie has some kind of a Replay value, It won't bé that hard ( 20 years I m watching box office numbers and making forecasts)
