"Michael", a biopic about Michael Jackson, is officially happening.

Dan Reed is skulking around, making his expected response:

Of course, he'd be attacking it no matter what the movie did. He's a parasite that loves to attach himself to anything related to Michael.
He is trash. I have never wished death on anyone, but I am ready to make an exception for him. This individual is so repulsive that I simply cannot stand him.

How was he able to get access to the first script!?

In my opinion, John Branca is someone who deserves to be hated even more than that bald guy.

I'm realizing now that the issue with Diana Ross is the reason The Wiz was completely cut from the movie even though we had set leaks confirming it was shot. I seriously hate how this movie was hindered by so many legal issues. I hope we learn more about the original cut or we get to see it for ourselves somehow, the version we ended up with is such a wasted potential.

Neverland, getting more into vitiligo will be in the second part.

We must remember, this movie only goes up to Michael being 25 years old. Of course we know he has done so much by then, but honestly, he is just a very very young adult there. Part II we'll get to see Adult adult Michael. haha
He looked lighter during the victory days, so I agree with the fact that they didn't cover his vitiligo enough. Showing it two times isn't enough. Matter of fact, they didn't cover Michaels struggle with his appearance that well either.

This is the sort of thing I wanted more detail on. They moved at 100 miles an hour, so when I watched it again not long after the first time it still went incredibly fast but it could've stretched certain things out.

Joe being speechless at Michaels first nose job was ridicilous too. He was the reason Michael started doing them in the first place.
They could've replaced him with Katherine or Quincy. You start wondering why they depicted Joe as being addicted to money, but not how he mentally abused MJ, which worsened his confidence.
That was the only gripe I had with the Motown-days.

Does anyone have a compilation of all the songs which were played in the movie besides the ones on the soundtrack? I recall "Dreamer" from The Jacksons, a bit of "I Can't Help It", a few extras from The Jackson 5 and another song from The Jacksons but I'm not familiar with the title.

For the less obvious songs: Big Boy, You’ve Changed, Stand!, Doggin Around, Think Happy, Enjoy Yourself - I think they were all in it off the top of my head. Sure I’m missing a few

Just came back from the movie. All I can think is what a missed opportunity it is! Michael is so much bigger and better than this. I'm a diehard fan but nothing touched me. I enjoyed the songs - Jaafar did his best but MJ is MJ. He's inimitable. Any fan could've written the movie to be more hard hitting. I really don't get why its so surface level. Forget the cut out parts - what's there makes no impact. Instead of the repetitive Joseph scenes, they could've included the catalog, buying Neverland. They show Neverland like a chekov's gun but it never fires. Sigh. I miss Michael so much. I wish he were here.

Edit: I'm also mad they didn't go into more detail on the vitiligo. It was a massive missed opp argh!!!
Or his lupus

The View was arguing about the allegations not being in the movie. Alyssa was saying she watched LN and believe them 👎🏾

This covered up to Bad in 1988 by then people were already everywhere wondering about Michael's skin changing. They showed splotches but didn't really discuss it or the lupus.

There's a very quick "big nose" remark - why didn't they double down on it?
