"Michael", a biopic about Michael Jackson, is officially happening.

Movie delays are common, especially in todays world. It's not some big deal that it was delayed. And if you think that you probably don't pay attention to production of movies that come out nowadays.
not saying they're uncommon, but these recent blockbusters, they've been through COVID and SAG AFTRA strike. Wicked was delayed because that one was being developed since 2012, it went through COVID, the leads were selected in 2021 mid pandemic and the writers strike affected shootings and production. The Michael movie kinda avoided these events... but ended up being delayed and morphed for reasons of whoops there's a settlement , according to every media outlet out there. And like I was pointing out, the first rumors about the movie indicated that the movie was going to end in the 80s and now we're back to them. So it's weird to say the least.

We can discuss how weird that is. Because these reports did throw a bit of negativity on a movie that was very promising. And not many movies are so affected by a settlement involving parties that long passed away - and that whole story just sounds ridiculous, I agree with you there, but it did manage to make crazy rounds

Someone over on the MJ movie discussion on Reddit made a good point about the official MJ released pic of Jaffar as MJ during the Dangerous era.

If we’re only going up to the late 80s….. that picture must surely be redundant? We won’t even get the famous toaster entrance or anything like that now 🥺

It will be met with harsh criticism either way but the lack of any allegations in the biopic will come across that they have whitewashed the controversy.

Branca’s own infamous TikTok stating that we don’t do that looks a bit silly now.
The problem is if the accusations process are not addressed comes from the media and not fans the Mj too well comes away in film that is not of advantage of the

No the estate has not made any agreements from chandler after mjs death.
Maybe it's because I am not a native speaker.. but to clarify:
I wondered if one of the agreements of the settlement was that both sides involved could never tell anything about the allegations in any way, and that this also applies for the executives of his Estate after his death..?

Because that would make more sense as a major problem than the rumour that the movie can't include the taped conversation of Chandler or their names; which would be easy to bypass imo

He might be full of shit but is it not a concern that up to this point, the shit seems to be more on the accurate side considering the delays etc?

Like I mentioned before, it won’t be too far away from the truth I believe.

P.S , you don’t have to insult other posters when trying to get your point across, it’s really not that deep. @apple🍎 ignore 😊
The only thing we know for a fact is that there were delays.

We don't still don't know what caused the delays, but the most credible theory with the most evidence and that makes the most sense is that it was too long and it needed to split it into 2 films, and for that they needed addition filming to flesh out what they already have into 2 2 movies. That's what makes the most sense and explains the delays.

The stuff about the settlement and the chandlers is unsubstantiated and I'm fairly certain (can't say why) it's not true. The movie being delayed was the perfect set up for Michael's enemies to spread fake news.

 Like the MJ HATER NATION need a movie or a delay or a case or an event to spread fake news, fake lies, FAKE ALLEGATIONS and fake stories!
They will do it anyways always have always will, like they need a reason to HATE him when they already DO!
We should be used to it by now and if not maybe we should start now to develop RHINO SKIN like Michael did !:oops::mad:
