And now do people understand why a biopic that ignores the allegations WILL NOT WORK?Unfortnately they will care cuz they belive mj is guilty
Much like some people on this board will defend the movie no matter how bad it is.Of course the mainstream critics will attack it no matter how good it is.
Is this a trusted site that makes original interviews? Great if so!“I Couldn’t Breathe After Take 5.” — Jaafar Jackson Reveals the One Scene in the 2025 Reshoots That Broke Him, a Performance He Calls His Most Terrifying and Most Necessary. - CNEWS

wtf?? It reads as though they will go up to 93 and include the allegations in some form , including the Neverland raid
I really hope this is true!! The world needs to see the impact it had on Michael
Please be true
So the reshoots and 3rd act was not because they had to completely remove the allegations but rather shoot it in a way to avoid the legal restraints with the agreement. I’m excited!!!!!
Love or hate aside, I would like to check an information with you guys. I have this anecdote in my mind, read about it years ago, I suppose from the time Michael was living in Trump's tower, that Michael wanted to make Donald jealous by trying to convince Melania to fake making out with Michael. Melania did not go along with it though.love or hate the trumps, half the country voted for them, and that half likely will go watch her documentary, so this is positive promotion. Any time Michael is mentioned in a positive way is a good thing.
I personally want people of all types to be fans of Michael.
His music has always been loved by every group. The west and the soviet world, Arabs and Israelis, communist China, Liberals, conservatives, people of all religions, both genders and people of all ages.
There is no way that story is true. Michael was already accusing Donald of being greedy and evil in 1995 by the way, he actually lists Trump in Money. Bryan Loren, who sang backup, also wrote a song about how hates Trump (albeit very later on). Even if you put them on good terms, a pornstar that barely speaks English is not Michael's type, and he would not want to make a friend jealous like that. I have read zero sources ever mentioning something like this, so if you can find the original that would also help.Love or hate aside, I would like to check an information with you guys. Does anyone of you know if this story is true or not and where it may have originated from?
It's absolutely demented.people here cheering about the Trumps are insane. did you guys miss the part where Donald Trump is part of a child sex trafficking ring and is being currently exposed for pedophilia and murder?
going as far as hoping they show at the premiere. so tone-deaf and backfiring for Michael, especially after what they tried to do back in december with that Epstein photoIt's absolutely demented.
I think the poster mentioning that was joking - or at least I hope they were, that's how I read it!going as far as hoping they show at the premiere. so tone-deaf and backfiring for Michael, especially after what they tried to do back in december with that Epstein photo
yeah I know I was more talking about so many conservative mj fans that exist that still support Trump or think that Trump was Mj friend because he "defended" himI think the poster mentioning that was joking - or at least I hope they were, that's how I read it!
I'd much rather a pedophile-rapist sub human piece of sh*t and his sh*tty family not have to come up at all.
But sure, all press is good press. I'm sure Reinhard Heydrich would have been a huge fan. He loved music.
Ah yes. I do see that old nugget pop up every now and again alright.yeah I know I was more talking about so many conservative mj fans that exist that still support Trump or think that Trump was Mj friend because he "defended" him

In the crowded history of musical biopics, few performances carry the psychological weight faced by Jaafar Jackson. Tasked with portraying his uncle in the upcoming film Michael, Jackson has spent years mastering the surface-level brilliance of the King of Pop—precision footwork, vocal cadences, and an unmistakable physicality. But during the film’s intense 2025 reshoots, it wasn’t the choreography that nearly ended his performance. It was revisiting the most painful chapter of Michael Jackson’s life.
Principal photography had already wrapped in 2024, but director Antoine Fuqua returned to the set in 2025 to rework the film’s third act. Those additional days required Jaafar to embody the 1993 investigation era, including a harrowing recreation of the moment law enforcement entered Neverland Ranch. According to sources close to the production, the emotional toll of that scene eclipsed anything Jaafar had experienced during filming.
After multiple takes, the actor was reportedly left physically shaking and unable to speak for nearly an hour once Fuqua called cut. “I couldn’t breathe after Take 5,” Jaafar later admitted, describing a kind of exhaustion that went far beyond muscle fatigue. “The dance numbers are brutal, but this was different. You’re channeling something your own family actually lived through.”
Part of that strain came from the physical transformation itself. Jaafar described wearing the prosthetic makeup and period-accurate wardrobe during the raid sequence as “wearing a ghost.” The familiar face in the mirror, paired with the emotional reality of the moment, created a disorienting overlap between performance and inheritance. It was the only time, he said, that he seriously considered walking off the set.
The 2025 reshoots were not just emotionally complex, but logistically delicate. Legal constraints tied to long-standing agreements forced the filmmakers to carefully reshape how the investigation was portrayed. Working alongside producer Graham King, Fuqua aimed to preserve an “unvarnished” emotional truth without crossing contractual boundaries. The result was a restructured third act and a release delay, pushing the film to April 24, 2026.
Industry speculation has also swirled around the film’s scope. With an early cut reportedly nearing four hours, there were discussions about splitting Michael into two parts—one chronicling the meteoric rise, the other confronting fame’s consequences. Regardless of format, the cast—including Colman Domingo, Nia Long, and Miles Teller—anchors the story in grounded performances.
As the film approaches its international premiere in Berlin in April 2026, it’s clear that Jaafar Jackson’s legacy won’t be defined solely by moonwalks or high notes. It may be remembered for a quieter moment—one where he stood shaking in silence, carrying a history that was never just a role, and proving that some performances are terrifying precisely because they are necessary.
Where and when did he say that? If he did, why would he then stay in his tower in the 2000´s?There is no way that story is true.
