"Michael", a biopic about Michael Jackson, is officially happening.

I think they might recreate the moment that Mike announced he was leaving The Jacksons on the Victory Tour.

The happy dance Mike did after he quit still makes me laugh

I think it'll be more dramatic in the film
I'm not sure he have announced he was leaving The Jacksons, just he didn't wanted to make more tour in general, groups or solo, Ebony magazine of December of 1984 have said he will continue with them (whatever that mean).

It's for that I didn't feel the movie at all, that seem to show that he wanted to make tours but in solo, which make no sense and it was not true, that easier for him make 6 months concerts with his brothers vs to make a solo tour but for 2 years like he have done since Bad.

What do you think is in that delivery truck? Knowing Michael, it's probably a tiger or a llama. What do you think? He's got that mischievous look in his eyes, so it has to be something interesting! 🤣

Didn’t even notice the cargo in the back! When Bill asked where did he wanna go….i want him to reply Salvation Army 😝

Like i said ages ago way before all the full trailers i will come back and say that many of this forum who where not excited will be by the time this film is nearly releasing. Jaafar respected his Uncle plus Prince would in no way be part of this project of his Dad if it was not made with L.O.V.E. ! with the greatest care!

None of the 15 tracks (that have authentic MJ vocals on both posthumous released albums) do represent the artistic vision Michael had for those songs.
I'm not saying get Sounwave to remix them. I'm just saying release them. Either way, if they're going to release any new material, the only respectful way of doing it is by releasing a full album with only demos. Nobody wants 2 new songs buried in with a dozen old ones.

Absolutely it's none of our business like, but people read into when something isn't said publicly on Insta.
They really don't. Its totally unimportant what somebody says online. It's even less important what they didn't say.

My word.

Its none of our business yet we deep dive into Michael's private life on a daily basis....
I never did. I respected both MJ and his children.

I really want the audience to love it!
I couldn't care less, lol.

Think of yourself, not others.

I just hope there won’t be a few stupid fools who go there with the intention of ruining it and shouting out stuff like pe*do for laughs.
Nah, it's close to $100 to go to the cinema these days. Nobody's going to watch a movie they won't like.

Such a shame MJ never made a proper behind-the-scenes of one of his tours..
Yeah, it's a shame Bad/Wembley and Dangerous/Bucharest were both bare-bones DVDs with nothing else on them. Could have had interviews with Siedah, Sheryl, Jennifer, Franz Harary, Andy Morahan...

And also a shame that the one we did get the behind-the-scenes, we never actually got the concert.

When Bill asked where did he wanna go….i want him to reply Salvation Army 😝
Unfortunately, it's probably just the scene before they go for a drive and sit on the car talking. So salvation army will be tomorrow, as expected...

a lion that devours the entire Ca$hio family
The rights for their life story were expensive, gotta capitalize on that now! 🤣 Looks like he's wearing the same clothes he was wearing in the scene with baby Bubbles, so it could be Bubbles's arrival... But that would be a huge truck for just one small baby chimp!

Janet Jackson in furious clash with brother Jermaine at screening of Michael’s biopic : ‘You’re so jealous’

But within minutes of the lights coming up at the end, the atmosphere shifted dramatically when Janet Jackson, 59, began dissecting the film with brutal precision, according to multiple people in the room.

The superstar singer — one of the family’s most powerful figures and the second most sucessful artist after Michael — reportedly criticized everything, from the performances to the makeup.

“She had something negative about almost every scene,” said one person present at the screening.

But, insiders told Page Six, Jermaine Jackson, 71, had enough and stood up and sharply confronted Janet.
“You are going to miss this wave,” Jermaine told his sister, according to one family insider who witnessed the exchange. “You are so jealous — just get on the wave.”

"You are going to miss this wave" seems like a very Jermaine thing to say. I'd have more respect for a family member that cuts the film to pieces than one that is thinking of themselves and how they can use the "wave".

If true, of course. Could very well be. We already know that Paris said.

Since a biopic isn't a documentary, naturally you'll find inconsistencies, which may even be intentional, contributing to the film's dramatic impact. I believe we should continue riding the wave of anticipation.

Asking Matt Forger, he said that quite a few „creative liberations“ were taken for the sake of storytelling back in November. Completely reasonable tho, if it wouldve been 100% accurate, it may have not worked for the general audience as good as it could‘ve. The tracklist configuration of Thriller being one of them.

That's all fine for the average viewer. It's clearly not fine for his daughter (and now apparently his sister).

The "creative liberations" taken for Bohemian Rhapsody are probably the biggest reason that the majority of big Queen fans (who would use their MJJC equivalent like us, let's say) loathe the film. The changes were made at Freddie's expense which made it ten times worse. But hey, it made 900 mil.

I just hope that the creative liberties made were not as detrimental to MJ as Bohemian Rhapsody was to Freddie, or certainly Back to Black to Amy Winehouse (which was absolute horsesh*t what they did - and the film itself).

At the end of the day, for anyone who dislikes or even hates the film, they can simply just never watch it again and move on. I haven't thought about Bohemian Rhapsody since the last time I saw it until the past few months with the build up to this and once it's all over I'll probably not think of it again for a long time. If I don't like "Michael" it will be as simple as that and I can move on like any other film. He's not my father or brother.

He has always , forever rode the wave tbh. He is the brother I respect the least, so not surprised with this new report that he (supposedly) told Janet that and unfortunately I've always been with Paris in the concept of this and now surprisingly, Janet. But we'll see I guess.

Edit -Ugh..
