"Michael", a biopic about Michael Jackson, is officially happening.

Watching the trailer again yesterday, I have to praise the team behind the camera for the Motown 25 scene. What we see of it, it looks like an upscaled version of the real thing, great recreation.
I am stunned by a few of these shots too. It's going to be amazing to see them recreated on the big screen.

That would be too similar to Bohemian Rhapsody and honestly a bit disappointing to me (aka lack of effort lol)
If they're not going to cover the Bad era in this movie beside the Bad performance, then it would make more sense for them to show the full Bad performance at the beginning as an introduction and go back in time to little Michael after the scene where Jaafar is holding his hand in front of his face. Then the ending of the movie would be when Michael announces he's leaving the group during the Victory tour. Joseph's stunned, pissed off expression would be a good cliffhanger for part 2. Jumping straight from the Victory tour to the Bad tour and then going back in time to cover the Bad era in the second movie would make no sense to me, the flow between scenes would be terrible, especially when watching both movies back to back.
