I just checked. Max Martin is a Swedish pop song writer, seems to be absolutely huge. I found a little interview where he apparently talks about meeting Michael at a 3T recording session (I Need You) but it's all in Swedish.

Max Martin has written every big pop hit that wasn't MJ essentially. It's crazy that people don't know him.
