That's exactly my point. The heavy fabric (looks like satin to me), the stitching, the folds in the fabric. And, yes, those strong abs just below the fabric. Running your hand down that gorgeous torso. Stroking. Mm ... not gonna say any more. But you all know what I'm thinking. What we're all thinking.

Performing, in general, the whole shebang.

The gif Hiker just did from GITM? That subtle hip movement he does on the 'talk to me, baby' section? That's what I mean. Really near the end of GITM, when he rolls his shoulder to try to get his shirt back up (it's slipping), that moment? I lose it. Every time. The black pvc biker jacket - all he's doing is walking across the stage. That's enough. That is all it takes. That gets me going more than the HN gif. With that I'm more, 'oh that's interesting, what he's doing there'. :D

As for stroking, well, you know. The lovely fabric. We all appreciate a good bit of quality cloth. Don't we? I think when Michael is doing his thing I think he just wants to draw our attention to, you know, his high standards when it comes to choice of fabric. When his hands slide slowly down, smoothing, caressing, I guess he wants us to ... sort of ... what? I can't remember what I was saying. Michael is too sexy for my brain. That's for sure.

ooooooh I totally understand that. I actually do! Like I said, I love the more "explicit" moments because the feed those parts of my brain beautifully. But those subtle moments are *insanely* enticing because they feel like they stem from Michael's authentic sensual/sexual aura. At least to me.

An example of that for me would be in the '88 Wembley performance of Human Nature when he's singing and just really softly, subtle moving his hips. It's just his natural rhythm. His genuine embodiment of himself. It's not overtly anything, but it's just him existing in his body and it's beyond sexy. Similar for me are moments when he's just performing joyfully and I feel so deeply drawn into him it's like there's nothing else in the universe. It's sexy because it's so real and so pure. I hope that makes sense!

Needless to say, I have an appreciation for all levels of the sexy scale, but I definitely hear you on the subtle stuff. It's life-ruining lol.

LMAO I am so called out here and if I were a better woman I might be ashamed. But I am not in either case haha. I wear that fiery lust of mine as a badge of honor when it comes to Michael :ROFLMAO:

I love imagining him wanting to draw our attention to "the fabric"... I could exist forever in that headspace, trying to figure him out, and what exactly he was thinking when he did these things, and how those thoughts made him feel. I know we've discussed how he was embarrassed imagining his female fans imagining him a certain way, but I also know he was still a man who was consistently and purposefully drawing our attention to him in that way. I just want to exist inside his brain for a minute. But I think if I ever had actual access to his sexual thoughts I would explode and never recover lol.

Speaking of his subtle moments, something that sets Michael apart from so many entertainers is how he never gets raunchy. This discovery of him has made me appreciate subtle sexuality and sensuality so much more, especially in a world SO oversaturated with blatant sexuality.

Side note: I saw a clip earlier today of a fan recorded Dangerous concert, I think in Chile, and it was hilarious how every time he would grab his crotch, the audience would SCREAM. I feel like that's not something I noticed in the more professional recordings. But because this fan was surrounded by other fans and they were all losing their minds, there was no denying it haha.

my boring answer - I think it was just another one of his ways to connect with fans, and a combination of him wanting to push the boundaries in everything. The more he grabbed, stroked, rubbed ..... his crotch, more the crowd cheered, and that's how the circle goes. Of course I am just guessing.

Back for a bit before I head off to bed. My router conked out again. It's developed a habit of conking out when the conversation gets too heated. It's hilarious.

Anyway, went and had a look at the Wembley clip. With low expectations, tbh. Whenever I watch Michael live it doesn't quite hit the spot. Various reasons which I don't wanna get into but, just doesn't really land.

Oh, this one did. Had to go and have a little cry afterwards. He was so alive and vital. Normally I can watch him and, you know, not be falling apart because he's no longer here. It's hard but it's life. Not being callous but you have to just get on with it. This one, though. Very difficult.

Really fabulous performance. Lovely engagement with the audience. Great vocals. Fab clothes - LOVED that belt. Mm, gorgeous belt. I want to see more of that. Wonderful miming at the end. Channelling Marcel Marceau. 😊 Really enjoyed that.

So glad you pointed me towards this. People rave about Wembley and I've watched a couple of bits and I'm just, meh. People really like IJCSLY and I'm just, no. Although that's mainly cos of Sheryl Crow, tbf. She's so useless. But, anyway, this was so lovely. Warming. Wonderful. Exciting. Sensual. Funny. Entertaining. Unexpected. Tense. Brilliant.

Oh, that is so kind but I probably won't. In fact, definitely won't. Do you know what, I totally need to be spending less time online. I keep telling myself to get offline and it just never seems to happen. I used to make that statement every day, 'I'm gonna be offline tomorrow' and then it would go out the window. So I stopped saying it cos it's just embarrassing how incapable I am of doing that simple thing.

So then I tried to create a system where I can be online every day if I want but for only so long. It's not going well. :ROFLMAO:

Just today, there was that video clip you posted, well, you posted two but it was the second one I really liked. So I was bonding with that. Then someone had posted a clip from Royal Brunei - which I've seen clips of before and been totally underwhelmed by - but this was the bit at the end of Earth Song and, oh my, it was fab. Loved it. Then I did manage to get offline for a bit but then was back on for a big old chat here and we all went mad. Did a big rant about Oprah. Looked at more lovely photos. It just goes on like that. I love it, don't get me wrong, but I did used to have a normal life. I'm sure I did. I don't know what Michael is doing to me. I love the fact that I've had all these phases with Michael and they are all so different but, also, 'Michael, fgs, I'm knackered over here, mate! Could you let up, just for a moment'?

It's not gonna happen, is it? I am doomed.

This is so interesting. Are you separating out his subtle stuff from his more explicit stuff? I agree he doesn't get raunchy. Or tacky. But I feel I can say that about the explicit stuff just as much as I can about the subtle stuff.

I mean, I could understand someone looking at the HN gif and going, 'er, what now?' but I don't think that stuff is raunchy or tacky or vulgar. I can't explain why. And, as you know, although I think it's sexy it doesn't actually get me going.

What do you think? Would you describe the HN gif as raunchy? I think it's sexy and sensual and, yes, it is very explicit. It's very direct but, to me, still not gross or vulgar. Am I just making excuses cos it's Michael? I usually don't make excuses for him. If I have a beef with him, he'll know about it.

And just to take it right down to the level of minimalism I wanna talk about GITM yet again. No apologies, I love that video. Can't get enough of it.

OK, soz, didn't check for time stamp but there is a bit (maybe halfway through?) where there is a really brief shot of Michael just standing there. Right arm across his body, left elbow resting on right arm, left hand covering lower half of his face. Head tilted back. It's a bit of a rubbish edit, in fact, cos it goes by far too quickly. It's the best shot in the whole video, imo, but it goes by way too quick. Why would you do that? Why would you throw away your best shot like that? But my point is, it's astonishingly, insanely sexy. I mean, the guy is just standing there, eyes closed, head back, arms just so. And it is one of the most sexy things I have ever seen. OK, so, as we know, I'm pretty minimalist when it comes to Michael's sexy performances but, god, this gets me going like I don't know what. It's also heart-stoppingly beautiful.

I don't even know what point I'm trying to make. I think I just wanted to pay homage to my fave moment in that video. That's enough for me.
