P.S. I know he always wore Ray Bans but the aviator ones don't count for me. It's only the classic ones that send me all over the place

P.P.S. The aviator shades are fine and they look good on him. But the classic ones are where it's at.

Yesssss....pleaaaaaase. I am in love with him in these!! And the smile with them? GOD ALMIGHTY. His smile is unlike anything I've ever seen. And as wild as I am about his eyes, for some reason anytime he covers them, whether with sunglasses (never knew they were Ray Bans until you mentioned it!) or the tilt of his hat, I just lose my absolute shit. The man does sex appeal like no one else.

Destiny is now in the picture. I've been flirting with it for a while, at the weekend I jumped right in and ... well, I don't know where to put myself.
Also, embarrassing confession, I'm having one of those crazy moments. One of those moments where you feel a sense of connection to Michael.
I know, I know, it's bonkers. What can I say?

I'm watching London 1979. They are playing at the Rainbow. Oh god, my heart almost stopped even just typing that. Girls, I don't know how to talk about this. The Rainbow, fgs!

What's all the fuss about? The Rainbow wasn't my fave venue. In fact, we hardly ever went there cos we liked small gigs. The Rainbow wasn't huge but it was big for us so it was rare for us to go there. But we did go there and I know the venue well and I can see the brothers onstage. OK, so now I feel like crying. I did say, didn't I, that this is completely bonkers? Deep breath. Another deep breath. So I can see them in my mind's eye on the stage and the whole thing and it's just so overwhelming. It's like fan - feckin' - tastic in terms of excitement but also makes me feel insanely wobbly. Makes me feel a sense of connection to Michael and just ... I dunno, it's been kinda destroying me since the weekend. In a good way.

I know the brothers played Hammersmith Odeon but that doesn't register in the same way. H.Odeon was a catch-all venue and I was never very fond of it. The Rainbow was mostly rock. Not 100%. James Brown played there, Miles Davis, Stevie Wonder. But it was a kind of legendary for rock music. Jimi played there and burnt his guitar for the first time. Alice Cooper, Santana - well, anyway. It's awesome and crazy that the brothers played there (although so did the Osmonds, apparently, lol). So I'm a bit all over the place.

I can totally imagine how watching him perform at a venue where you've spent actual time would make it feel all the more intimate...but then of course, Michael has a way of performing that sucks you in and makes you feel connected to him, even if he's in a stadium. At least that's the effect he has on me!

Oh, and I have an update!! That ending shot of him smiling and tucking his hair is definitely from the Bad performance at Wembley! I watched it earlier as "research" and it set me off into an absolute ****** frenzy for like 3 hours. One performance. ONE PERFORMANCE FROM WEMBLEY LED TO ME LOSING THREE HOURS OF MY LIFE...

Update: After I posted the video, I of course watched the video again, which led to me losing my entire mind as I watched more Bad tour footage while I screamed, squealed, gasped, cried, and smiled to the point of soreness, with yet another hour of my life today passing me by...

Really going to try to exist like a functioning person for awhile awhile instead of drooling and collapsing in front of my laptop for hours on end. We'll see how long that lasts 🤣

Break of dawn! Have you heard this song! Oh my god! What lyrics and the way Michael sings it! I usually don't read lyrics, I just slowly discover them while listening, and that leads to these moments! I was totally blown away today when I finally deciphered the beginning! I don't have the words to express it, but it belongs to this thread!
