Hello everyone! I’m not entirely sure what the usual format for introductions is in this community, so I’ll begin by explaining why I’m here. I’m here because of Michael and because I felt a genuine pull to become part of the MJ community. I’ve been a fan of Michael for many years, for a long time I stayed on the outside reading, observing, quietly absorbing discussions and opinions shared by others in here. I never truly thought that joining a community would feel necessary to me. Over time, however that changed :) Being a long time fan means accumulating MANY thoughts, opinions and conclusions about Michael about his life, his work and the way he was perceived. At some point, it becomes important to have a space where those thoughts can be expressed and discussed rather than kept privately. So thats the realization is what ultimately brought me here !!
One topic that truly matters to me and that I hope to explore here, is Michael’s PSYCHOLOGICAL PORTRAIT! I’ve seen many discussions about Michael over the years like his career, his music, his art and different events in his life. These topics are talked about a lot but I rarely see people trying to look at him psychologically, to talk about who he actually was as a person beyond the public image. As fans, we feel like we know Michael and in some ways we actually do but there are things about him that not everyone notices, thinks about or feels comfortable discussing. There are details, patterns and traits that often stay in the background and that’s what I’m interested in exploring. I don’t expect everyone to agree with my thoughts and I’m not saying anyone has to believe them. I just want to share my perspective and have open discussions where people can agree, disagree or add their own views. I also don’t want to talk about Michael only in an idealized way, as if he made no mistakes or had no flaws. Loving someone doesn’t mean ignoring their darker sides. And Michael, like any human being, had his own struggles and inner conflicts and that’s completely normal. We all have things we deal with internally aren’t we???

If you really want to understand Michael’s psychological portrait, one of the best ways is to watch his Martin Bashir interview, the shopping one. Not just to hear the words he says but try to feel what’s going on beneath them. In that interview, you clearly see his financial struggles and yeah, at first glance it might look like he’s just spending too much or being careless. But that’s not the full story because For Michael, money wasn’t just money, It was tied to who he was. He had spent his whole life being “the King” someone the world put on a pedestal. Debt or financial trouble wasn’t just a problemc, it felt like a threat to his identity, to his pride, to the very idea of himself. There was a moment when they were talking about him being in debt or not and the way how he handled it instead of panicking, he went out, shopped, surrounded himself with luxurious stuff and he reminded the world and maybe reminded himselfc that he was still in control. Every purchase, every choice, wasn’t just about owning things, it was his way of saying “i am still Michael Jackson and I still have power and I still make things happen” Watching it, you can see that fear was there but so was pride and so was this belief that even if things felt unstable, he could find a way through. Money became more than numbers, it was a kind of shield, a proof of strength, a way to protect not only his life but his dignity and his sense of self!
