Hi, this may or may not be my first ever thread on here so sorry if I sound awkward. I'm just owndering what shoes did Michael wear in his later years? I know he used loafers for dance, but I was looking at photos of him in 2007/2008 and noticed he's wearing some type of boots & they look really good. Here's some examples, these are photos from October 23rd 2008 in Beverly Hills:

For months I've been really curious as to what brand that is & if those were custom made for him?
 
I'd also love to know the answer to this. I don't think they were custom though?

I haven't read Michael Bush's book, he wasn't Michael's daily stylist especially at that time but wondering if there's any light shed in that direction.

Agreed with the 2008 look though - Boss!Mike...love it :)
 
YSL Jonny boots, they were his favorite for many years.
He also wore custom made flamenco boots.

This comes from Karen Faye, I asked her a while ago.

Thanks! They look amazing. Too bad the Jonny boots are insanely expensive (for my standards). Luckily there's tons of boots that look like that, I just have to search different variations.

He looked absolutely dapper at the VMA's. I have a pair of shoes that looks just like that. Mine are called chelsea boots and they come in various colors, (beige, brown, Dark blue, Black etc etc) They are very fashionable nowadays.

Take a look at these. These are not the exact same brand or model as the one Michael had but they are not that far off :)

Wow those look great! I've been deciding ever since I made this thread. I can't seem to find the pair in the first photo though; they're not available on their website and the Amazon link doesn't look like the atomretro pair.

But overall, they're perfect! :)
