when I think of ‘signature moves’, I think of ones that were closely associated with, or created by Michael.

the way that he would hop/skip across the stage. how that evolved from the back leg in the seventies, to the front leg in the eighties. there was also the circular version that was likened to a rain dance.

‘scootin’, a term that was used by fellow dancer and co choreographer Jeffery daniels, was another way for Michael to travel from point a to point b. as shown towards the end of this clip.

there’s also what I call the ‘swivel knees’ during the ‘rock with you’ breakdown.

Bremen version of Jam is way better than Bucharest, imo. Great camera angles, wonderful editing. You can properly see the great choreography and Michael's dancing in this one. Love it.

His dancing is truly out of this world. No one can dance with such energy and precision.

Yeah it’s kind of funny. I remember at school when I had to a presentation in front of class the first thing that was told was to keep your hands in sight and not in your pocket ( plus don’t chew gum). The same thing is said on talent shows like “ the voice”. Keep your hands out of your pockets! It doesn’t apply for Mike!

Posting this cos at 3m 10s there is footage of Michael rehearsing with the Odissa dancer from BOW. I've never seen that particular bit of footage before. It's really short but lovely.

Absolutely love this video! 🥰 I really enjoy those behind the scenes and making of moments, it just shows so much of the magic and creatvity, also his humanness.

oh love it! Its always so interesting to see him practice. Sometimes we forget 100s of hours of practice that went into the perfection we see on screen. Love that "phaw" moment @ 1:58 :)

This Is It.

I don't have the TII DVD so there is stuff in here that is new to me. And being able to hear Michael's speaking voice is always special.
I have watched SO little of TII... this was amazing. That Billie Jean was 🔥 🥵 💥 amazing! Wow.

I really hope I can watch this someday. I really want to.

Oh. The 'TII' was meant to be a trigger warning for peeps who haven't seen it and aren't ready for it.

Anyway, many peeps feel that this is his best ever version of BJ. If you ever do watch TII the full version is in there. It's fabulous!
