Mj Ad In Rolling Stone!

Thanks! I feel as though I am the ONLY one sooo excited this era... I've never been able to collect magazines, cut out pictures, frame pictures, AH  I LOVE IT! Also, here is my confession, I am only 12 so don't be surprised but I have NEVER listened to Michael's whole Thriller album... I've never listened to the whole album in one thing. I've also never heard Lady in My Life, Baby Be Mine, and Human Nature. So I've never heard all of the album, and I've never heard the remixes, and have never seen Motown 25 performance.... so when I get Thriller 25.. OMG I AM ECSTATIC!!!!!!!!

you're not alone....there are many like you...that's what some people need to know..

Who cares what they gave the remixes? They said 'Billie Jean' EVERYBODY loves and they gave the overall album a FIVE STAR RATING, that is fantastic! They put him on the front with that big banner, and advertisement, AND on the back page with the charts they show a back issue and the one they showed for that back issue was MJ in 1983 Rolling Stone. This whole magazine has Michael EVERYWHERE! And stop complaining, the review was overall pretty positive.

No, the review was not positive. Are we READING THE SAME REVIEW?!!

The guy basically bashed and picked apart every single remix, and called Michael's "Thriller" video a crappy John Landis movie.

And the way he wrote the review was terrible, every other sentence making an outside reference that had absolutely nothing to do with reviewing the re-release itself.

And you're really exaggerating...don't get people's hopes up about this magazine article, lol. "He's everywhere!" WHAT? How is he everywhere? A half a page advertisement and a cover for the review section (which is not uncommon for popular artists to get). WOW.

I'm not asking for more than that or anything, but I still think you're exaggerating and overly excited about some run of the mill review of a re-release.

The thing to get excited about here is this exposure for Michael...but other than that, the review is a sham.

He is everywhere in this magazine! More than other people! I mean, like I said, look at the last page, you'll see him on the cover of 1984 magazine, the little banner with a nice article, and a half page advertisement. That is pretty good exposure in one magazine :mello: And it's not just a COVER STUPID! I SAID THE BANNER ON TOP! YEESH!

Anyway, I went out to get Thriller 25 deluxe at Best Buy, not there, only the regular. Went to Circuit City, nope, just regular. This is when I got MAD! Then I went to Target, nope, just the regular version!! WHAT HAPPENED TO THE DELUXE VERSIONS? Well, I am getting deluxe off Amazon.com so whatever!
