It makes me laugh, now what Tajj Malik!? lol Glad that Nimmer knows better now! I'm sure the comments people left him made him understand that we ain't no fools!

I used to be all for Larry, but a couple of things have started to bother me about him. He was all in favor for Melissa Johnson and Howard Mann days ago, because he was betting on them to get the trademarks so that he can sell his DVD, since the Estate has refused his request. Which I completely understand...MJ's likeness is money, and that money needs to go to PPB. Larry is turning into another person who seems to only see dollar signs in his eyes where MJ is concerned too in my honest opinion. He really sealed this for me when he has Geraldine Hughes going on and on like she KNEW MJ intimately, but in reality, she was all on Melissa's and Manns jock, hoping that she too could cash in from the trademarks, hence more publishing for her book, which is good and accurate honestly, but she jeapordized her integrity when she paired up with these two, Majestic, Joe, and Brian Oxman (a man who couldn't hold water and an established liar per the court records).

It took 4 days but it seems like Larry Nimmer understands that it wasn't a favorable settlement for HTWF and that it was about trademarks. Perhaps there's still hope that everyone will see this fact.

I didn't know all this about Geraldine Hughes. That sucks.

Please find below a statement from the Co-Executors of the Estate.

Please let the fans know that we are aware of the many questions from the fan community regarding the recent settlement of the HTWF lawsuit. The Estate will need at least ninety days to gather information, as well as all of the property that will be coming back to the Estate from Melissa Johnson and the HTWF. We want the fans to rest assured that all decisions on the use of a charitable foundation or, as an alternative, making direct contributions to recipient charities, and any and all personnel decisions, will be made with complete regard to Michael’s wishes and Michael’s legacy, which we intend to honor and perpetuate. We also value the opinions of Michael’s fans who, above all, have shown unwavering support for Michael and his legacy. We therefore want to assure the fans that all actions being taken by the Estate, past, present and future, will be guided by the paramount objective of doing the right thing by Michael.

Worth repeating. I hope that MJ3 will have their pictures removed from the current, soon to be past, version of HTWF. MJ Online Team have confirmed that this is in the works. No time line given though...aside from the 90 day finalization period.

Some have said the estate must have reimbursed Melissa for the trademarks. Well didn't she buy many of those trademarks with donations so it wasn't her own money? Also why reimburse someone for something they don't rightfully own? She should be investigated for fraud instead.

The Estate doesn`t own the names for example Heal the world, HTW. M. Johnson owned this trademarks. And for sure after the trial M. Johnson could go on with her HTW-Charity. She had to make further a note that there is no connection to the MJ-Estate or that it is not MJ`s charity. But she had go on with a HTW-charity with Michael`s mother and kids on board. And this would be a great damage for the Estate and Michael`s legacy.

she didn't spend thousands of dollars securing that name alone to my understanding and things like the logo I don't believe she could ever claim as her own. She should not be reimbursed for anything.

When I think of Heal The World I think of Michael's song and vision. I don't see how Melissa can claim to own that.

Hi Ashtanga, nice you are back. I think this whole thing is all good for Michael and his estate. It is clear as it always has been for me that Michael made a very very wise decision in hiring Branca as his executor. Mr. Branca sure knows his business and he is there to honor Michael and his legacy.

The estate has all the trademarks back as they should. Now, I'm just waiting to hear more news on an official MJ foundation which will hopefully be HTW so I can start contributing.

I think this whole thing is all good for Michael and his estate. It is clear as it always has been for me that Michael made a very very wise decision in hiring Branca as his executor. Mr. Branca sure knows his business and he is there to honor Michael and his legacy.

Yes. Although some fans are not completely safe in relation to Branca, I really can not imagine another person, in addition to Branca, being the executor of Michael.

We don't know everything yet. This is what's happening

- Estate and HTWF began discussing a settlement on April 16th. They signed a binding agreement on April 19th - the first day of trial.

- Judge gave them a month ( May 19th) to file a status report about the settlement (how they are working on the tasks required by the settlement).

- Today Estate filed a document with the court saying that they wouldn't be able to file the status report on May 19th because
---- HTWF hasn't done anything they are supposed to do
---- HTWF breached the confidentiality as some items were also copied to Howard Mann
---- They received an email from Mel Wilson of HTWF on May 13 saying there was a board of directors meeting on May 6th and that Board of Directors reject and rescind the Settlement Agreement as Melissa Johnson didn't have the permission and authority to act on behalf of Board of Directors (Yes Katherine and Joe are a part of board of directors).

- MJ Estate is planning on filing a motion by May 19th asking the judge to enforce the Settlement Agreement. There will be a hearing about it if possible by mid- June. After that we'll know what will happen.

Good question about the Board of Directors. Who are they? For some reason I thought that Melissa was a part of the board.

I know that having the settlement enforced is probably the safest for the Estate; however, they may need to go back to the original lawsuit and get a final ruling once and for all. I have a feeling that they will be hitting bumps every time something is attempted in the way of implementing the settlement.

Michael Jackson Estate vs. Melissa Johnson

On May 14th, 2011 the MJ Estate has been notified about that the defendants do not intend to follow their obligations under the settlement agreement. They are claiming that Melissa Johnson did not have the authority to sign the settlement agreement in the name of board of directors.

Since the parties agreed in settling the case, defendants didn't follow andy of the settlement terms. Johnson's lawyer insisted that they have concerns regarding the terms of the settlement. This lawyer insterestingly sent a copy of this communication to Howard Mann, that tells a lot.

The fact that the board of directors rejected the settlement means that both Katherine and Joseph Jackson was present and voluntary agreed to this, and plays on fighting again the MJ Estate.

Why am I not surprised, ha- Joe and Katherine stopping yet another effort by the Estate (their son's estate) on behalf of Michael. All this family has done since Michael's passing is done everything in their power to go against Michael's wishes (his estate). Well, with Mann being so cozy with Katherine and of course there is always Joe right behind everything Katherine does, ha ha. Joe is looking to keep those trademarks to reap the benefits and exploit his son's name like he has done since Michael was 5. Ughhh

It was settled with terms, they agreed and now they have concerns? Why did they sign it then?
