This museum is about The Neverland Ranch, not Michael Jackson per se. So, the answer is no, it is not sanctioned by the Jackson family, but legally it is not necessary. This is a fan museum.
 
LOL Okay. Seeing has how Neverland was the essence of Michael Jackson I'm not sure how you can separate the two. . . JMO of course but I think many Michael fans would agree. Michael created Neverland Ranch so of course it'd be about him!! At least in my humble opinion.
