Imagine MJ decided not to do Thriller. That is to say, he knew the song was a hit in the making, but it was too good for an album like, Thriller. So he decided to withold the song, for an entire two decades. Just in the year 2002, we have

An amazing conceptual LP. Made up of nothing but scary songs.

Ghosts
Thriller
Is It Scary
Family Thing
Monster
Behind The Mask
Threatened

This would be the best album, even better than Thriller. And would far outclass Invincible and wouldn't need any stupid remixes either.

Anyway, stop suggesting changing these landmark records. It's gotten kind of boring.
