MJJC supporting a Charity

Kim from legacy team would like to start a charity initiative and have MJJC support it in an official Capacity.
I think we should have something of this nature for our members to promote and support. she sent me the following. we have discussed it further but this is the main gist

Hi Qbee,

I have an idea. What do you think about setting up a First Giving Fund raising page to raise money for either the Starlight Children's Foundation or Elizabeth Taylor Aids Foundation. We can create a thread that we have started this fund raising page and then post the link. We can either do this through the MJJC Legacy Project team or MJJC in general. I like the MJJC in general idea. We have many initiatives with trees and forests, so I thought we do something official in one of these two other areas. What do you think?

I suggested if we decide to do this that the legacy Team choose 3 Main charities and post all the info on each and then MJJC will poll our members and let them choose which one will will support. Also it must be set up so NO Money passes though MJJC or fans hands it must go directly to the charity. ( We have enemies that will scrutinize and try to hurt out effort) Many charities will set up accounts or give credit to its donors. I also said I want her Kim (windy09) to create the Charity thread (formatted professionally) as she does and will do.

It must be Classy and professionally looking

I really think this would be good for the board to support a Charity in an official capacity. We have been discussing it on an off and I think the time has come to make it a reality. I will help over see it. But legacy team will spear head the initiative

Nice. I support it and for the record St. Jude also allows to have Personal Pages set up for donations. Money goes directly to them. It's a children's charity.

My view guys, I agree absolutely but I think we should choose one charity (to start) that is world wide which all fans across the world can do something in their own country. Don't forget were a world wide community and if we do this we need to do it big.

And yes no money coming my way and we need to set up a dedicated donation MJJC page.
