Tribute concert in Montréal
After the grief, the tribute. Artists and personnalities touched by Michael Jackson will gather on the Club Soda scene on Sunday to salute the King of Pop’s contribution to the artistic world. Profits will be used to buy instruments to an organism that teaches music to young people from North-Montreal.
Gage, Mélanie Renaud, Luck Mervil, Antoine Gratton and Les Respectables are some of the artists who will perform in this concert named We are the world. Herby Moreau, Isabelle Racicot, Anne-Marie Withenshaw and Rebecca Makonnen will also pay their tribute and talk about their moments with the singer.

Just like Michael Jackson, who’s acts often served as getting music reacheable to the youngs and poors, profits of this tribute concert will go to Culture-X, a organism that gives music lessons to young people of North-Montréal.

600 of the 1000 tickets are already sold, but René-Frantz Durosel says there won’t be another show. > Jackson’s fans who will not be able to get a ticket for the tribute can at least watch the 10 minutes fireworks on King of pop’s music that is planned to take place on Saturday at 22h00 at La Ronde.
After that, the outside dance floor at La Ronde will transform into a club playing 80’ music. Fans will be able to dance on the biggest tunes of the star. Costumes and clothing remembering Michael Jackson’s style are highly encouraged.
