I have lived in a small town for so many years... At the end of this month we are going to move, some people are happy (me) some people are NOT. Some of the people in town are not happy we are leaving. My town that i live in now is so small everyone knows everyone by first name. The reason they are upset with our move is because we are this area's first responder's unit. Which means if anything happens here and someone needs and Ambulance my mother and i, or my father are the first that show up. Now with that said i love this town, but since the store next to me stopped selling gas we can no longer afford the back and forth trips to town and the Hospital where my mother works.
I feel that these people are taking offence to us moving out of this town. I wanted to move with my family to a new place that will help my mother and save her on gas money. But the way these people are acting makes me feel guilty. I know i shouldn't feel this way and they got along without us fine before we moved here they can get along without us after we leave. I just wish that these people would see that this moving thing for us is the best way to go. Esp with the rise in gas and the convenience of town.
