I just read a message in the newspapers that there will be a Tribute Fanmeeting on MJ's birthday the 29th of August.
It will take place at the club Imperium (this club sucks bigtime, trust me) at Hoofddorp and is organised by Mark Wittenberg and Willy Gijsman.

I thought I heard somewhere that these organisers/fans are not that trustworthy or something? Is that true?
The information on the website seems cool...hmmm. Did anyone else know this already?

I have no idea, I went once to a Jackson party from Mark in Paradiso (Amsterdam) that was I think 6 years agao maybe...

They are really not my kind of fans so i will skip this one and will visit the statue of Michael in the town Best instead.

No idea if there is gonna be something official going on there but i just wanna bring my candles and flowers there with my 2 oldest children.

I don't really go to fanmeetings like that anymore. I stick to my first plan and go to the History statue. I don't want to 'party' on his b-day right now. When he was still alive it was fun but now.. it feels a bit wrong to me.

Ohh and i so hope there is nothing official planned in Best. That means media might be there then which i don't want.

Dudie, i can totally relate!

Whenever there is a party going on (Paradiso, Vigil at the O2 july 13) i feel out of place.
Its nice that people have started celebrating his life but i need more time, i can hardly imagine our hero has died and am still mourning.

I just wanna be at the statue with my candles and stuff and hope the media will NOT be there!

I was at Paradiso at that ''party'' from organisator Boris, but it felt difficult to see how people partied the whole show (specially the crowd who were standing in front of the stage) I was sitting at the first balcony, and I was happy to... I had a lot of moment which I did not felt good and needed something to lean on. If I am free of work august 29 I might go to Best also, but it's more than one hour driving for me, so if the weather is horrible I might not go.

I understand your feeling completely, though I personally found it very comforting. I stood there in the crowd with some diehard fans and I just had to dance, sing and get this anger about his death out of my body.
Had this really weird feeling, I cried through the music and just let myself go completely.
I found it wasn't a party that much, especially the end was really dignified and just to hear everyone scream their love for Michael..oh it was full of love that night.

But I think I'm not attending this tribute on the 29th...wish it had been organised in an other way and somewhere else.

Paradiso was great...i felt the love..

But i was just hurting too much so i went out of the building before it finished...

I believe there are some more parties being held, one in Eindhoven Tonight and there's also something in Breda this weekend or next weekend...not sure but info is on the mjjc.hyves.nl.

I already bought tickets for the meeting on the 29th. But after hearing this i dont know... I guess ill stop by and if its not something i expect then ill just leave...
I wish i could go to the concert jermaine is giving with his brothers on the 29th and 30th

I was planning to go the Eindhoven as well on the 29th. I read about the "party" on the 29th and thought about. I just don't know. It's very far from where I live (breda) and if I feel outta place it's such a waste of money, time and energy. Anybody knowing somebody with a movietheatre? Maybe we can watch a concert of MJ on a big screen :)

unfortunately i dunno anyone who owns one hehehe. Would be cool somehow. Just watching MJ in peace without all the party stuff.
